  • Amtrak savings and booking?

    I'm planning on going from Baltimore to Denver last week of August (23-30), and would like to use the train since it is cheaper and more eco-friendly than air travel.

    I have two problems booking online:

    1) Most of the promotional codes I have used have failed. Is there anything, even something as low as 10% off I can use?

    2) I often run into problems with confirming trains, with the webpage stating "the use of the back or forward buttons on the browser..." even though I did no such thing. This happens all the time when trying to enter promo codes. Something wrong with my browser or should I just give up and call?
