I have 2 RAM slots... they support DDR2 RAM....

Can my system support 4 GB RAM (2GB X 2)

Although my system manual shows I can have max 1 GB RAM per slot, but LONG BACK I installed 2 GB RAM and 512MB RAM. Windows successfully shows 2.50 GB RAM, although BIOS only detects 2048 MB.

But now it is not taking one more 2 GB RAM. So what should I do? Should I have only 2 GB RAM (1 GB X 2) or keep 2GB RAM on one slot and keep other vacant.

I have an Intel 82845GVSR M/B. I decided to install Vista and 7. But since then oftenly, motherboard doesn't boot well, it shows broken graphics at boot time. Since my graphic card is not Vista Ready, it installed XP driver, has this damaged my M/B?

I have ASUS P5KPL-AM/PS, running very well, recently I got a program ASUS PROBE II, which buzzes when M/B temp is above 44 degrees. Is this normal? What is the optimum range?

Earlier, I had Intel Pentium 4 2.40 GHz (HT not supported CPU).

But I had to change my CPU, now I have:

Intel Pentium 4 HT 1.5 GHz CPU.

Nowadays, I facing performance degradation.

So just had a query, which would give better performance: P4 2.40 or P4 HT 1.5 GHz CPU?

I have installed all possible applications by Microsoft, can you suggest me proper program.

Does any one know, is Microsoft planning to release any of the above mentioned product. Windows Vista deserves Windows Media Player 12 and Windows Virtual PC.

Windows Vista is best after all, Windows 7 is just has 10 - 15% change.

Who will spend 10,000 Rs on it? Windows 7 is undeserved upgrade to Windows Vista. I have tried it.

Any partition on 250 GB Hard Disk is not recognized. I want to install Windows 2000 and Windows Vista on my PC. Can any one tell me what is the last capacity of Hard Disk Drive which Windows 2000 supports. I don't want to install Windows XP as it really annoying. Is there any solution?

While resuming it shows a blue screen KERNEL_DATA_PAGE_ERROR and showing "pci.sys" in the bottom. This problem is occurring since 3 months. Initially I thought it was operating system problem, but same problem occurred in Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. I think there is a hardware issue.

While resuming from stand by or sleep, system stops responding and restarts. Could hardware problem be reason for crash or other? Please help!
