Hi, I need some professional help. I work in the cardiology unit at a hospital and i am quite familiar with Blood Pressure Meds. My Boyfriend recently did a kidney transplant and has elevated BP. The doctor prescribed Terazosin 2mg 1 @ night b4 bedtime a day ago for his High BP. I research every medication he is on and Terazosin is used to treat elevated BP secondarily but its primary use is for persons with prostate issue.. I'm quite suspicious of this medication and would like some professional insights.
