calculus 3 help functions of several variable?
i really need help with the question. my calculus teacher has a weird accent so i only understand half the stuff. the question is:
g(x, y, z) = ln(28 - x^2 - y^2 - z^2)
find the domain and range. i got the domain but not the range, how would i find the range?

i read somewhere on youtube that your kill streak you get from chopper gunner, harrier, etc. (not from the care package) that they don't count towards your kill streak on the PC version of Modern Warfare 2. is this true?
2 AnswersPC1 decade agowhen does Ohm's lawn apply?
ohm's law is amps is equivalent to voltage divided by resistance.
EX. if i have 24V a 240 ohm resistor, the amp is 0.1 amps. So if i have 24V at 24 ohm the amp should be 1 amp, and if i have 24V and 1 Ohm the amps should be 24amps. but this doesn't sound right, so does ohm's law only apply when the resistance is higher than the amps?
also what is the normal amps given off by a dry cell 1.5 battery, any size.

what does a transistor do? from experience i think it turns DC current to AC. because it's used in a transformer which requires ac current to work. if it does turn DC to AC then how many hertz is it going at?

3 AnswersOther - Electronics1 decade agocan normal AA or AAA batteries work for an inverter?
can i use AA or AAA batteries to produce 12V for an inverter to charge my laptop?
or is the amp difference form a car battery and AA batteries too much of a difference?
if so then then can i just get a bunch of AA to produce 12V and have sets of 12V and put them in parallel to produce a higher ampere for the inverter to work?
2 AnswersEngineering1 decade agohow to charge batteries?
can i charge a battery in serial or does it have to be parallel?
- I'm trying to make a custom charger for my MP3. i need five rechargeable NiMH batteries at 1.2 V each for a total of 6V.
- then it goes through a 5V regulator and into a female usb plug.
- can i charge the batteries in series with 6 V or does it have to be 1.2V charged in series.
- or can it not be charged in series and i have to charge it in parallel at 1.2 V.
- then my next question is can i charge a battery in parallel at 1.2V and use it in series at 6V with diodes so they don't sort shortage, at the same time.
- also if i can't charge in series then why do some phones charge in series? phone batteries are in series and are changeable. so can you charge batteries and series?

3 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agohow to increase capacitors voltage and uF?
how do i increase the voltage and uf of a capacitor?
i was thinking if i had two capacitors with the same voltage then if i put them together in parallel then i should increase the uf of it by the sum of both.
i was also thinking if i put two capacitors with the same voltage in series then i should double the voltage right?
if these won't increase the voltage or the uf please tell me how to increase it.
thanks in advance
