Seriously, sometimes I want to kill myself when I listen to their overreacting stories.

I'm only 14 and I think they're annoying as hell...but I've got to admit, sometimes I love hearing their stories, it makes me laugh. Sorry for those who love to brag about the untrue but seriously, wake up people, everyone thinks you're annoying and no one likes listening to those who brag.

My aunt, oh my GAWD! Her sister-in-law is in America and last time, she said "Well, my sister owns her own TV Station" You know, like abs-cbn and GMA, etc.

My mom is humble so she just said, "Oooh, is that right?"

My mom told me and I started laughing my *** off. Really? Her own TV Station? Get real.

Another "story" would be when my other aunt made rumors within our family saying "Ate (my mom) is going to help my daughter get to Canada after she finishes her studies" Seriously...WHERE IN THE WORLD DID THAT COME FROM? My mom just helped them because they couldn't afford to pay for her college!!! She never said anything about bringing her to Canada.

I've got a bunch of stories but I'll tell you guys one more 'cause I'm on a roll here and this is fun. So my OTHER aunt is like...the mayabang queen, no joke! She brags about almost everything. She also gets jelous really easily. I don't even know how my cousin (her daughter) keeps a humble attitude. My aunt is freaking crazy (no offence to her, lol but she can be nice), she's ALWAYS telling my mom about how her daughter (we're the same age) always gets the guys, is the smartest in her school, how she's flawless and beautiful and oh man, there's just too many. I mean, I can't judge my cousin, I honestly think she's gorgeous. Seriously, my aunt is like competing with my mom because they have daughters the same age. It's as if my aunt competes with everything.

What I want to know is why are people like that?

It's like once they get a little bit of money, they start acting like they're rich and they own the world. All of the "mayabang" people in my family came from poor families, they used to be very humble but they married spouses who work abroad so now they're like this. My mom's neighbours in the Philippines always tell her how they (her and her siblings) never changed, unlike the others who works abroad.

My family is like in a war.

There's the humble group and the mayabang group. Man, my family is messed up.

So what do YOU guys think of maybang people?
