Tried downloading Linux but can't seem to or can't open it . Understand need to securely destroy all data but would like to donate pc to charity hence question and problem.

Hi guys. I want to dispose of my old pc desktop. (It is running 'XP' with all the 2 or 3 updates ) so I want to wipe the hard drive. I can open 'disk management' and view partitioned disc but 'format' is not enabled on drop down menu. It is there but not enabled as a choice to use. Ideas please ?

There is nothing wrong ever and I have now taken to just cancelling it b4 it starts as is pain in derriere. Desktop p.c running windows XP.

Have laptop running new windows op system. Went and put password on to stop unauthorized usage. Now have forgotten my password and am locked out. Help.

After having probs with webroot uninstalling I managed thru 'system restore' only thing is now it won't recognize microsoft security essentials I had (and still have according to prog list) It is not showing in tray and it says I need to download Microsoft security client files. Catch 22. THEN it recognizes the M S E on pc and informs me I already have one version installed! Can't uninstall to re-install because............yep, it says files are missing and I need to download................. etc,

Apparently there are different degrees of severity and responsibility. If u kill just by momentary inattention (maybe reaching for your mobile when it rings)you can get a community sentence as opposed to killing someone while texting . Shouldn't ALL crimes linked to killing while at the wheel get very stiff prison sentences, after all there is no degree of being dead is there?
