#2 in the oven

37 weeks today and I think I lost my mucus plug this morning. There was cm that was probably about the amount of shampoo you'd use or to cover a quarter. It was milky white.

Now I'm having back pain in my upper back. I've had contractions about one an hour. Think this could be the main show or will I go on for days like this?

I'm wondering if you went into labor days or weeks before with the second, experiences, etc. I'm 36+6 weeks with second child and was induced at 39+4 weeks with first. I'm nervous about being in labor at home with no meds since I was spoiled being induced. Anyone with experience to share?

I used avent bottles 2 years ago and still have them. I'm sure they're not BPA free, but we never heated our bottles, always room temperature. Would BPA still be an issue? Use the bottles again, nipples again, or replace one or both? Again, we never heated in microwave or water bath-but we did run them in dishwasher.

Our local decided to show basketball instead and I'm missing the show. When will NBC put the episode up to watch?

We found out we're having a boy and I asked about local anesthesia but the doc said he won't use it. He just uses Tylenol. From what I've read it is possible to use local anesthesia. How can I ask again or get him to use it? I don't understand why it's not used if it is available. I'm not willing to change docs and I think it's important to have procedure done, but this really bothers me.

Yah! I had my ultrasound scheduled today and doc has a new machine. They just got it and haven't recorded ultrasound yet. Any idea if I bring CD or DVD. Is there a specific type of disc to bring. I'm really wanting to bring the right media in case it really works!

I planned on breastfeeding with my first, and she was supplemented at hospital due to jaundice. We had to continue the supplements at home, and she stopped latching on at a week. I tried pumping and couldn't keep up-so I went to formula.

My question is for those of you who had to give up breastfeeding the first time-will you try again or go directly to formula? I don't know what to do here...

I thought for sure I wanted to use Luciana for a girl and call her Luci. We have Sophia now and call her Sophie. Now I'm second guessing. What made you know the name you picked was right? Now I'm just thinking maybe it will be a boy because I have a great name. Suggestions on making this easier?

What's the worst case you've had or known? Think it's too early to pray for a breast reduction when all of this is over with?

How often can they hear heartbeat from doppler at say 10 weeks? I've got a tummy so I don't know how that would influence. I remember last time we did doppler around that time and they did find heartbeat, but we had an ultrasound and saw the heartbeat a week before.

This time no ultrasound that we know of, but I'm a little worried. Sister had a miscarriage and I can't shake the thought totally.

I'm 6 weeks and go in for labs today. I dreamed last night that we found out that my 16 month old was autistic and had 2 sets of eyes. Literally this scared me. I don't do genetic testing because I would keep a baby no matter, but what's up with this? Anyone else have really weird dreams like this about pregnancy or current child?

House just shot the bill down. What's the answer? Now what do we do? Some of us do pay our bills, live within our means and what will all of this mean for us?
