How often does a 1996 Ford Mustang need a tune up?
My last tune up was at 125K, and I am now at 169K.
Also, when I attempt to accelerate onto an expressway, I usually hear a rattling sound coming from the engine block area. My car is also sluggish when trying to merge onto the expressway. What could that rattling sound and the sluggishness be a symtom of, and how much would it cost to fix? If it makes any difference, my last oil change was about 3K ago. Thanks!
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoAccutane and mental health side effects?
I am a 39 year old male and have suffered through acne since my teens. I have very oily skin and all the creams and pills have provided only temporay relief. My new dermatologist recommended that I try Accutane. However, my dermatologist warned me about the side effects of this drug to your mental health such as depression, suicidal thoughts, etc. This concerns me because I had a severe depression back in my teens ( I am okay now), and I have a brother who is suffering from a major depression. I also have other immediate family members and extended family members with other mental health issues. So my question then is am I more susceptible to the mental health side effects of Accutane than a person who does not have any immediate or exteneded family members with mental health issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
2 AnswersMental Health1 decade agoI own a 1996 Ford Mustang w/ 152K miles w/ automatic transmission.?
My problem is that I hear and feel vibrations coming from the trunk area of my car. This always happens when I am acclerating up an incline when I am in the 40-45 MPH range. This sometimes happens when I am on a level road too. These are not slight vibrations. When this happens, you definitely know that it is happening. I am thinking that this could possibly be a transmission problem. If so, how much would this cost to fix? If you don't think that this is a transmission problem, what could be causing these vibrations and how much would it approximately cost to fix? Thanks for any advice and/or help.
7 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoSometimes it takes two attempts to start my car after it has been parked for several hours. What's wrong?
I have a '96 Ford Mustang with about 142,000 miles on it. In general, my car is in good condition. However, lately it has been taking two attempts to start my car after it has been parked for several hours. However, I do not have this problem if I drive to the store, and come back out 15 minutes later. My car will start on the first attempt right away. What could be causing this problem, and if necessary, how urgent is it that I get my car to a repair shop? Thanks.
10 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoWhy do married women give me hugs and not single women?
I have noticed lately that married women will hug me when we first meet or when I am leaving, but not single women. We might talk about their jobs, their kids, or current events. I do NOT flirt with them. I am a straight, single, nice guy with average looks.
I just need to know when married women hug me, is it just an innocent hug, or is it something more from their point of view? I am NOT looking to start anything with these women because it's wrong, and I don't need that kind of drama in my life anyways.
