Melissa, That's me!
Is it better to have the vet vaccinate my puppies or can I do it myself?
My puppies need to be vaccinated. It seems more cost effective to do it myself. Is it worth the price difference? (PS I'm a nurse and thus give injections frequently, so having to give then injection isn't an issue.)
10 AnswersDogs10 years agoWhich breast pump Ameda or Avent?
I'm looking into breast pumps. I'm torn between the Ameda or the Avent. I want the dual electric one, but I just can't decide which to choose. Please give me the reasons why you DIDN'T like the pump and some reasons why you did like it. I'm inducing lactation so I need something easy to use, and something that will hold up. (I'm not interested in a Medela.) Thank you!

3 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoAdvice about induced lactation and adoptive breastfeeding?
I'm going to induce lactation so that I can breastfeed my adopted baby. I need help picking a pump, and supplementer. I'm stuck between the Avent and Ameda. I'm also trying to choose between a Medela supplementer and the Lact-Aid supplementer. Please tell me the cons of the products, and any other suggestions about induced lactation or adoptive breastfeeding you may be able to share. Thanks!!
4 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoAnyone had this and been pregnant, or not pregnant?
I'm 3 weeks late for my period. I am always regular and have been for years. Last week (and the week before) I took HPTs and they came out negative. I started to cramp (not my normal bad cramps that keep me keeled over), and bleed yesterday, but not my normal dark blood, very bright red. I have a Dr appt for later this week. My breasts and nipples have been sore, lots of lower back pain, and constipation. Does this sound like it could be pregnancy?
5 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoI'm 3 weeks late and started my period, have you had similar experience?
I had a period 2/21 ro 2/28 I don't remember which. Now 4/14 I finally got a period. Is is possible that I'm pregnant? Has this happened to anyone else. For years I have been very regular no more than 2 or 3 days late. I'm worried because I have had a miscarraige previously. I havn't taken a pregnancy test recently, but last week 2 HPTs came out negative. If you havn't had experience with this, please don't offer ignorant answers about how if you have a period, you're not pregnant. Thanks!
PS I do have an appointment wth a Dr soon.

2 AnswersOther - Science1 decade agoThis question is genuine, is it true that guys?
Is it true that some guys enjoy nursing their parteners? I mean if you were dating me (HYPOTHETICALLY) would you enjoy nursing milk from me, even if I'm not a mother?
4 AnswersPsychology1 decade agowhat does it feel like to have a miscarrige?
Last month my period was exceptionally light, and it only lasted 3 days. I got my "period" on time this month although I'm never quite regular. Usually they last 5 days or so (but only really bleed for 2 maybe 3 days), and I get cramps for a day. I bleed heavy and light depending on the day. This month I had cramps so severe I doubled over in pain for hours, then I bed heavy, really heavy for almost week! The thing that concerned me was that I wasn't really bleeding blood, it was more like mucus. I did go to the doc and she didn't say much, offered to give me a pregnacy test, but if I was miscarrying I didn't want to know. I have sex regularly, but I only use spermicide, so pregnacy isn't something that is entirely impossible. Please no stupid comments, this is something that's just really bothering me. Thanks for those who take the time to answer, I truly appriciate it!
10 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting1 decade agoRecipe for Mary Beth Lagerborg Mac and Cheese?
I'm looking for the Mac and Cheese recipe from the book "Beyond Macaroni and Cheese" by MaryBeth Lagerborg. I only want that recipe though, I have used it before (and I LOVE it!!!) but I don't have the book and I can't find the recipe online.
Thanks! in advance for your time! :)

8 AnswersOther - Pets1 decade agoWhat's your opinion on this type of business?
What do you think makes a good company to work for part time and earn extra cash. Do you think that they should look for people who meet certain educational requirements. Should they help you out with your taxes, and how to get the best returns? Should it be one where you help other people, and still make money without making that money at other people's expense? Would you join a company that helps other people get out of debt WITHOUT taking more money out of their budget than they already spend? I suppose this question is difficult to answer becasue I don't really have a defined question, but I'm really just looking for some opinions. Thanks!
2 AnswersCareers & Employment1 decade agoWhere can I find clients and employees for my business?
I am a Personal Financial Analyist and am looking to help people plan for the future. I'd like to help with debt elimination, investments, mortgages, etc. I'd also like to set people up with life insurance, and help people plan for retirement. Like the old saying goes "People don't plan to fail, they fail to plan." I'd like to remedy this situation. Where do you think I can find people in my area who would need these services. Also, I have been promoted as an assistant in the Human Resources department, and I'm looking for employees. I'm not looking for just anyone, and I'm afraid that if I put out an advertisment in the paper that I'm going to get a bunch of calls from people that I don't want. How would I go about finding the kind of people I'm looking for, and screening them before the interview?
