I have a sony viao PC running windows XP Home service pack 3. When I try to run some programs. they don't run at all. I tried a lot of things and now i just want to restore my pc to how it was when i first got it. I have the recovery disc that I created when I just got the computer but i cant use it because it the computer doesnt want to run the "autorun" program on the disc. is there any way i can get it to run, or another way i can restore my computer? Any input is appreciated.

last time I uploaded a log file to one of the official forums they just made me download a bunch of spyware and adware scanners and scan my system like 7 times, and she didn't even tell me which items from the log file I should fix. I just need someone who can view the log and tell me what looks like it could be malware and should be removed. thnx.

i noticed my mac pro at work has two gigabit ethernet ports, but only one is connected to the network. what is the other one for?

alright, so I'm learning how to play electric guitar and I'm having a problem trying to play chords. it seems when i am holding down a string, my finger touches the next string slightly and mutes that string if it is part of the chord. is there anything i can do to try to avoid this other than just keep practicing.
