Would Mozart like the song "Macarena?"?
Mozart was a musical genius after all so would hear all the modern things that have occurred in music since his death and appreciate them, or would he dismiss the piece as modern drivel?

5 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoWhich is better Money or Time?
If you could have lots and lots of money, but had to spend most of your time earning it, would that be best? Or what if you made enough money to get along, but you didn't have to work that much, so you had a lot of time on your hands, would that be better?
Personally I'm into time. Since my non paying work takes up all my time, and I wish I had a lot more.
11 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoI try to be veggie or vegan but I need help and advice.?
I want to do this basically for health and moral reasons, but every time I go a few days without eating meat (or greatly reducing the meat intake), I feel a terrible compulsion to binge on the meat. Maybe it sounds silly but it is a physical compulsion, its not really mental. I'm actually quite a decent cook, and I can make more than a few vegan or veggie meals that I like that I think should be giving me everything I need, but it really seems like something is missing from that diet that is only satisfied by the meat products. Has anyone had this experience (maybe when first starting out?); I appreciate any advice.
13 AnswersVegetarian & Vegan1 decade agoI am a photographer and artist that has compiled some work I think is worth showing. I need portfolio help!?
A few days ago, I went into a local coffee shop for lunch when I noticed they used their walls as a mini gallery. It was quite a nice space. After lunch I spoke with the owner who said they had some space available in May. Right now I have the kind of portfolio of a black plastic cover with plastic sleeves with the black acid free paper to allow two photos per page.
The problem is that this is the bare minimum and I am worried that she will not want to show my work because my work is presented poorly. I really cannot spend a lot of money mounting everything on foam core boards and matting them (although I do want to). Does anyone have any suggestions and/or useful experiences to share? I would appreciate the help since this is the first time I am meeting with someone about possibly showing my work. Thanks in advance.

I have a few hijinks planned but those darn antlers keep falling off my dog.
15 AnswersChristmas1 decade agoWhat do you think of this statement about art: (just something I was thinking about...see below for statement)
Art is the result of the language of the artist. The audience to appreciate it cannot look for what "they relate too" since a true artist cannot be speaking your language only their own. If you choose to view art you need to open your mind to what the artist is trying to say, and sometimes (especially if the artist is successful), it is difficult since they are using images in a new way to make a new statement (but without words).
6 AnswersOther - Visual Arts1 decade agoWhy does is most street photography in b&w? Can't color street photography be just as valid?
I have been doing street photograpy for a while now but I have always done it in color and I realize some others have (Helen Levitt's and Esther Bubley's color work for example; or Alex Webb) but it seems most people seem to think that it still has to be done in b&w to be considered "artistic". Examples of my work can be found in the link below.
