Do you agree with me?
Read this first: http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/03/30/westboro.bapti... - Dead Marine's father ordered to pay protesters' legal costs...
I believe that there is a time and place for some things. But protesting at a funeral, in my opinion is below subhuman. I think a huge group of people should make signs, T-shirts and stuff like that and camp out in front of the Westboro Baptist Church and in from of the home of Rev. Fred Phelps in Topeka, Kansas. See if he & those cult like followers enjoy having that happen to them. What is good for the goose is good for the gander, right? One turn deserves another. What goes around comes around. After all, doesn't the bible say "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Let's be civil and hit them back and where it hurts them the most....in the pocketbook.
Do you agree with this? Who's with me?
15 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoCould health care be the start of 2nd American Revolution or lead to a 2nd Civil war?
Now that this disastrous and destructive health care bill was passed and signed could this be the catalyst of a 2nd American Revolution or lead to 2nd Civil war??? Let me know what you think...
For those who don't know anything about history.....

6 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoHow many people feel the same way that I do about the health care bill that passed?
I can honestly say that I did not vote for Obama in 2008. Although I did not care much for McCain (I felt McCain was to wishy washy), after doing my homework and viewed both their voting records plus what they both stood for, I felt he would have been the lesser of two evils.
I grew up and was raised a lifelong Democrat. I changed my party after Ronald Reagan became President. Boy do I wish he were here now. I understand that politics is mostly a game between two sides. As a lifelong student of US history, never in my life did I ever think to see a gross perversion of the Declaration of Independence, US Constitution and The Bill of Rights as what was just passed. This is a million percent wrong. We the people deserve much better than this.
For now on, in my opinion, I will either vote Independent, Republican or any other party before I ever check D. Never again, in my life time will I ever vote Democrat. I feel our freedom has been violated.
"If it isn't worth dying for, it isn't worth living for either" - Rosa Parks
"God have mercy on my enemies, because I won't" - Gen. George S. Patton
How many other people feel this way as I do? Do you plan to vote all of them out this November? Please voice your opinion, I want to hear it.
18 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhy do we need a 2nd Stimulus?
Today, Feb, 17, 2010, marks the one year anniversary of the Obama stimulus plan. Everyone in the Obama administration (including Obama himself) say that they saved a lot of jobs (but fail to give exact numbers and specific information). With millions of people still out of work and thousands more jobs on the chopping block, how is it really working for America? Good or bad???
If the first stimulus worked so well and was so good....Then, why do we need a second stimulus???
5 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoSo, is saving 10 jobs but losing 10,000 jobs, is that good for America?

Today, Feb, 17, 2010, marks the one year anniversary of the Obama stimulus plan, so how is it working for you?
Did it save your house?
Did it save your car?
Did it save your job?
Did it create a new job for you?
Did it do anything for you?
I am eager to find out, let me know.
7 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhat do you think of Obama when he said....?
Today Obama addressed workers at plants and dealerships who will lose their jobs as part of the restructuring, warning that "more jobs would be lost," and adding they were "making a sacrifice for the next generation."
IN OBAMA'S OWN WORDS: "It's a sacrifice you may not have chose to make, but a sacrifice you are nevertheless called to make so that your children and all of our children can grow up in an America that still makes things, that still builds cars, that still strives for a better future,".

Ok.....
Got some question here.....
1. I have no kids. All I have is me. (so I guess I have no future) Ok, Now what?
2. If have to give up everything I have/own to take care of the next person because I can no long take care of myself since the government will take everything I have/had away from me to give to that person, who will take care of me then when I have nothing left to give anymore?
3. I own and operated my own business for over 20 years. And like a lot of people, we've been hit hard during this economic mess. I have taken several personal pay cuts myself and made personal sacrifices in order to keep all my employees working, so that I don't have to get rid of any of them, and they can keep supporting their families. I care about each and every one of them. If the government takes even more away from me & my business, then what's going to happen to my workers & their families???
the biggest question of all....
4. What has Obama sacrificed lately??? That NY trip must have been fun. I'd like to do that. Seems to me he's doing alright for himself & his family. Why don't he be big man and lead by example???
NOTE: one more thing....
Since people want to assume (That as*-u-me for people who do that) that they know me, when that they don't anything about me. And that some people get mad, when you ask some really tough question,
I will say this, that I am very well educated (I have 3 degrees) and I continue to educate myself everyday. I use a wonderful place called the local library (as well as the internet). Some people should give it a try, they may actually learn something.

If you were in a room with Obama and terrorist came in with a bomb and said "I will only let one of you walk out of here alive, now choose who will die & who will live", do you think Obama will say....

or will he say...

14 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoAmerica's lifespan...another 15/20 years?
I believe that America has less than another 15/20 years before it finally collapses. The America I grew up in (and love) will be no more and everything will move to become ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT (ONE WORLD ORDER). It's already happening right now. The US will end up doing all this in order to try to salvage (as the politicians grab more and more power, but do nothing to repair) the damage done in the last 40 years (including the damage being done now by the current people in power).
The next great superpower - will be CHINA mostly likely. After all, they have been buying our debt (but they are not buying too much now as our economy goes in the tank). They will quest for more oil (to keep building up their nation) and eventually that will lead into another world conflict.
Is America too far gone????
What can ("WE THE PEOPLE") do????
How do ("WE THE PEOPLE") fix all this & can we????
And what is yet to come????
"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within." - Josef Stalin (Communist ruler of Russia)
"Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step over the ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never! -- All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Bonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a Thousand years. At what point, then, is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide." - Abraham Lincoln (16th US President)
8 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoIs this Hope & Change?
America has a lot of problems (always have since the birth of this nation & mostly likely always will). But as a nation (WE THE PEOPLE) have always risen to the occasion, prospered & persevered.
America has always been a land of freedom and prosperity. Nowhere else in the world do people from all over come to America in order to make a better life for themselves and for their families. Because of this, Americans are also generous and caring people. Nowhere else in the world does such a group of people of all backgrounds, races, religions and creeds come together to help others. That is the motto of E pluribus unum (Latin for: From Many - One).
It is the time to put aside the politics of LEFT vs. RIGHT. Put aside LIBERALS vs. CONSERVATIVES. Most of the people who are the heads of both parities now, both want the same goals. They have the same agenda. They want money & power. They'll embrace anything (Fascism, Communism, Socialism, even slavery) that will meet their goals. They'll sell everything even up to their very souls to have it all and keep it all. They are not representing you. They care not to solve our problems. They always put on a "shell game" before the media and you. They want everyone to keep fighting with each other "so they can keep going to the bank". They will even appear to give you scraps (of what you think is freedom) from the table to keep you quiet. As a matter of fact....They think you are all 100% stupid and need to be told what to do & how to live. Don't buy into it.
Today, we stand at the threshold of losing everything that (WE THE PEOPLE) hold so dear and that our founding fathers (and many others) fought & died to protect....LIBERTY. This is a new path brewing towards a new Civil War (This time it will be ECONOMIC SLAVERY) And unless (WE THE PEOPLE OF THIS GREAT NATION) stand up and fight for our freedom. WE WILL LOSE IT ALL.
So, is this the hope and change you wanted??? You tell me......

4 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoObama VS. Reagan...Who is better?
"Government is not a solution to our problem, government is the problem. We've been tempted to believe that society has become too complex to be managed by self-rule, that government by an elite group is superior to government for, by, and of the people. Well, if no one among us is capable of government himself, then who among us has the capacity to govern someone else? All of us together, in and out of government, must bear the burden. The solutions we seek must be equitable, with no one group singled out to pay a higher price." - Ronald Reagan
"I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts." - Ronald Reagan
VS...
"I think when you spread the wealth around it's good for everybody."
- Barack Obama
"They did not send us here to get bogged down with the same old delay and distractions. They did not vote for the false theories of the past. They did not vote for status quo they sent us here to bring change, and we owe it to them to act. This is the moment for leadership that matches the great test of our time. Millions more Americans will lose their jobs. Home will be lost. Families will go without health care. Our crippling dependence on foreign oil will continue. That is the price of inaction. America desperately needs the economic recovery plan. I urge you to complete that world without delay" - Barack Obama

3 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoAre you happy or disappointed with Obama & Congress? (American Voters ONLY!)?

13 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoMcCain supporters, what do you think about this....?
Historically, many presidents have been referred to by their initials, For example:...
Franklin Delano Roosevelt - F.D.R.
John Fitzgerald Kennedy - J.F.K.
Lyndon Baines Johnson - L.B.J.
William Jefferson Clinton - W.J.C., "Billy" or "Slick Willie".
George Walker Bush - G.W.B. or "Dubbya"
If John Sidney McCain gets elected his initials would be "JSM". It's funny that right now, people are calling John McCain "Mcsame" or "Mcbush". That sounds like something I'd get at MacDonald's. "I'd like one mcsame sandwich, a coke and some fries with that". lol. I hope the libs come up with something better or is that the best they can do?
Now, I perfer the nickname "Carbama" (Jimmy Carter & Barack Obama) beacuse it sounds a lot like car bomber, doesn't it? Maybe we should start using that?
But hey, check this out.... If Barack Obama get elected as president, wouldn't his initials be B.O.??? (Remember, we were all told by the media that we can't use his middle name "Hussein", so he can't be "B.H.O." I guess logically, he'll have to be refereed to as B.O. then)
And when he messes up, we can always say "There's something that stinks real bad at the white house, It must be that B.O.".
What do you think about that??? Is that funny?
