  • Need to strengthen the free wi-fi signal inside my house that's coming from the nearby park.?

I live very close to a city park that has a free wi-fi signal. I can get the signal just fine in my yard, but inside the house I can only get an unreliable, weak signal in a couple of places. What do I need to purchase to get a stronger signal inside my house. I don't think a wi-fi booster will be enough. I wondered if a repeater or long range wi-fi antenna would be what I needed? Maybe a combination of things or something I haven't listed? My laptop is already wi-fi capable, so it doesn't need any extra hardware.

  • Black screen of death on the Palm Pre?

I've had my Palm Pre for about 8 days now and am enjoying it except a few times I have gotten what reminds me of the blue screen of death on windows computers. It interrupts whatever I'm doing at the time, goes black with the word Palm in the middle, and the word will brighten and dim over and over until the black screen disappears and goes back to the regular Pre wallpaper (at which point any application I had open is now closed). There seems to be no rhyme or reason. I have checked to see if it's getting to hot, usually no. I have checked to see if it's roaming at the time and no. It doesn't always happen with the same application running. I haven't downloaded anything that wasn't from the App Store. I wasn't sure if it was something I was doing or of this is a phone I need to exchange for another Pre. Any advice from any of you Pre experts. Thanks!

  • Yahoo Q/A pregnancy regulars do you know how great you are?

I want you all to know how much I have appreciated the questions and answers you have submitted in the pregnancy category over the last several months. I havn't asked many questions myself, but I have benefitted from the questions and answers the rest of you have submitted. They have helped me know that I'm not alone in the way I am feeling and helped me not worry about all of the little things that come up during pregnancy. I had my beautiful baby boy 2 weeks early on November 1, 6 lbs 8 oz, and wonderful! Thanks for all of the good advice given in this forum. Keep the good questions and answers coming!

  • Question for women who have delivered more than one baby....?

I am having my second baby, and I am wondering if those of you that have had more than one baby did they both (or all) come early, late, on time, or in no pattern. I'm just trying to figure out if there is any kind of pattern...My first came 15 days early, and I'm trying to figure out if there is a good chance my second will come early also.

  • Can clear plastic lenses in glasses get tinted from too much exposure to heat?

I have an old pair of glasses that are now my backup pair. They stay in my car's glovebox all of the time. They have been in there nonstop for almost 4 years now. Today I tried them on and they seem to be very slightly tinted now. They are not the kind that change tinting according to the light. They are just normal clear plastic lenses. I don't remember but they might have UV protection also. Could all the hours of heat exposure in my car have caused some sort of tinting?

  • Question about the Agatha Raisin book series...?

I listen to audio books from the library at work and on my commute. So, I have to take whichever ones I can get at the time. I have been fortunate enough to get the first 3 books in order, but I just started a new book and it is clearly much later in the Agatha Raisin series. By the end of book 3 Agatha and her next door neighbor James Lacey were friends, sortof. At the beginning of the book I've just started, Case of the Curious Curate, Agatha and her HUSBAND James Lacey are divorced, and he has told her he has gone to join a French monastery (which she finds to be a lie). Without revealing too much about the mysteries that were solved in the books I've missed, how in the world did they come to be dating much less MARRIED! Was it a marriage of convenience or did they have a real romance?
