4 AnswersComics & Animation10 years agoDoes 'Lego' ever re-release old products (Example: Batman sets)?
I was just wondering if Lego ever re-releases old lego sets.
Lego's Batman sets have been discontinued for a while now, but might start up again once the new Batman movie is released in 2012. Would Lego re-release older sets of Batman Legos (or have they re-released old sets for other lines in the past)?
I ask because I bought a set a few years ago and I was wandering around on eBay today and saw it going for $200+... So I need to know if Lego ever re-releases old sets so I can decided whether to keep mine or not.

3 AnswersClassical1 decade agoWhat's a good way to memorize music?
I can play fine while looking at the music sheets, and I can also play w/o them. However I think its mostly muscle memory. If I can visually see a keyboard I can tell where my hand is suppose to land next, but honestly if you ask me to name the notes without looking I probably would not be able to...So I think I have been memorizing music the wrong way!
Is it even practical to remember all of the notes to a piece? If so what's a good way to remember them?
10 AnswersClassical1 decade agoWhen making Salmon Wellingtons is it best to use sear the salmon or put it in raw?
Should I quickly sear the salmon before putting it in the puff pastry or should I just put the salmon in raw?
Will raw salmon leak and make the pastry soggy?
3 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade ago"No Imput Signal" on my computer monitor?
Yesterday my monitor was working fine... However I noticed while I was playing video games it froze about 2 times... After the 2nd time the monitor totally turned off. Now it says "No Imput Signal" even though the computer is up and running. What can I do to fix this?
*I have already tried unplugging the monitor and plugging it back in.
4 AnswersMonitors1 decade agoIf I like Brahms - Symphony No. 3 : Poco Allegretto (3rd movement)...What else would I like :)?
Usually I listen to classical piano pieces, but I would like to start listening to a few symphonies. Can anyone recommend anything similar to Brahms Symphony No. 3 - Poco Allegretto ? I'm looking for something beautiful and melancholy.
6 AnswersClassical1 decade agoAre 30 (consecutive) day contacts safe?
Does anyone know if the 30 day contacts are safe? I'm talking about the ones you wear for 30 days straight and even sleep with them on. I am interested in getting them... but my family members are convinced that it's unsanitary to leave it in my eye for that long. Opinions?
7 AnswersOptical1 decade agoDo you have to reconfigure your wireless router and/or computer when switching from DSL to Cable?
I recently sold my house and temporarily live in an apartment. I use to have DSL but switched to COX Cable when I made the move. My cable modem is running fine, DS, US, and Internet lights are all solid green. However when I plug in my wireless router my laptop can't seem to connect to the internet. I've also tried directly wiring my computer to the modem, but it's still a no go.
So my questions are:
1) Do I have to reconfigure something in my computer since I use to use DSL but switched to Cable?
2) Do I have to reconfigure my wireless router since I switched from DSL to Cable.
and lastly
3) does my moving from one location to another have anything to do with the problem? I don't live in the same city anymore...

6 AnswersClassical1 decade agoOn a month to month basis which is cheaper: Phone Line + DSL or Cable?
So I'm moving into an apartment temporarily until we are done house hunting.
Would it be better for me to purchase a phone line + dsl for the apartment or just purchase cable?
What are the pros and cons of dsl / cable?
Also if you know any good providers around Orange County (CA) please let me know ;).
3 AnswersOther - Internet1 decade agoFranz Liszt - Liebestraum?
Can anyone answer this question:
At the beginning of the piece when the right hand plays the melody (starting on C) How come sometimes the left hand joins in to hit C when the right hand is already there and able to hit it?
My sister says it's cause the left hand is bored and there's nothing for it to do. Is that true xD?
2 AnswersClassical1 decade agoChopin - Fantaisie Impromptu Question?
Okay I'm getting so annoyed right now x_x I tried posting this question a billion times but it never makes it to the question page... don't know why.
Anyways there is this one line in Fantaisie Impromptu where the bass cleft's key suddenly changes to something else...Is there a mistake in my music sheets or is it actually supposed to do that? (It's on Page 2 Line 4) . It looks like the right hand is playing in one key and the left hand is playing in a different key. I looked throughout the rest of the music and it doesn't seem to do that anywhere else.
I'm not very good with music theory... but couldn't they have kept the whole line in the same key and just added sharps/naturals where ever to achieve the same effect? Why randomly change the key sig. out of no where?
Please explain this to me.
1 AnswerClassical1 decade agoIs it unusual to play two different key signatures at the same time?
I'm not very good with music theory... but say a piece is in C#m... is it possible for the right hand to remain C#m while the left hand suddenly changes to something else?

My teacher told me to go through my Alfred Book and play 1 piece a day for 6 weeks... But has anyone tried the "A Line A Day : Sight Reading" books? If so please tell me how they are, and if you actually found yourself improving.
Anyways, I would like to know the methods that you use to improve your sight reading :)!
2 AnswersClassical1 decade agoUh... Instrumental Mp3s for Piano Concertos?
Hi,
I was just wondering if there are any websites out there that provide instrumental versions (similar to karaoke) of Piano Concertos. I'm looking for mp3s with all the other instruments except the piano so that I may play along (horribly might I add...).
Thanks in advance :).

So I was wondering... if someone receives a notice and it says to pay x amount of money within 3 days or surrender the premises... is that basically set in stone?
Is there anything anyone could do to possibly extend that amount of time (by a few weeks or even a month)?
I need to know to save myself the trouble of driving to work...
5 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoFor those of you who can play Chopin's Ballade No.4... How big is your hand span O_O!?
Basically I was messing around with my sister's music book and I'm sad to admit I can't even play pass the 3rd/4th measure cause my hands are too small!
The right hand has your 2nd/3rd finger wedged somewhere while your playing with your thumb and pinky... and this position just feels extremely awkward.
Anyways... grab out a ruler and measure your hand xD!!
4 AnswersClassical1 decade agoStupid Piano Question: Are you EVER allowed to use your thumb to strike 2 keys at the same time?
I was told by my piano teacher that if I can't reach a chord to "roll the chord" or sometimes I can cheat and negate a note >_>...
I'm taking a piano course w/ a different teacher for the summer and I heard her say to someone you can smack 2 adjacent keys with 1 thumb... is that right?
I mean are you even allowed to do that...? I think if my other piano teacher saw me playing two keys with one thumb I'd be in some big trouble lol. Thoughts...?
Since you're already here what do you guys do if you can't reach a chord?
