My baby will be 7 months on the 12th. I'm still Breast feeding but not as much as before. My daughter gets baby food and cereal. I'm working and still pump at work. I'm also on the mini pill. I'm wondering when did other breast feeding moms period come back.

I'm wondering what the average is. Because I know it can be 4 months to a year or even 2.

I'm 5'7" and female. I am looking for a mountain bike this summer I have always ridden bikes WAY too big for me ever since I was 13. I want one that is comfortable and fits right.

I have always been into trail riding in the woods. But last summer i started doing a little bit of down hill and that's really fun.

I am not sure what size would be right for me. most bikes are made for guys so what size dude bike would would for a 5'7" female?

my Inseam is 78cm if that matters.

So I have my 55 gal tank all set up I am waiting for this filter. i got on sale its a Eheim classic 2251 for a tank up to 92 Gal. It is $125 for after shipping and Tax. Pretty good deal but the stupid thing is on backorder so I have no clue how long it will take for it to get here. It's been almost 2 weeks and still on backorder. I just want to start cycling my tank. grrrr

So I'm thinking of cancelling it and going to petsmart and getting a Eheim ECCO 2234 for a tank up to 60 Gal for $125. I could have it that day. But it's not a good deal.

Should I just wait? Or should I just get it. I have had this tank sitting for a month now. I just now added the decor and stuff to it last week. What would you do?

I'm putting my 55 gal tank together. I'm useing sand I have lots of bogwood and rock caves I will have some live plants too.

It should look awesome.but I'm not sure about one thing. Only sand or should I add a dash of granit pea gravle to the top. Just want to see what people think looks good?

Yes it is granit I colected it from a beach at lake tahoe. It's pretty cool very different. I'm thinking of just putting it around my rock work. Or just in one area of the tank.

I'm at a ski lodge not snowboarding because I'm sick and my breast hurt because I never got a sports bra for my bigger breasts. I'm just wearing a nursing bra and well riding tracked out powder is bumpy.

Also last time I went snowboarding I got a clogged duct jam just recovering from a bad one.

Anyways it's been 3 almost 4 hours since I nursed my girl. I don't have my pump. I have to wait for my husband so I can't go home. I have started to look around for a baby in need of nursing. Not really but I look around me and think maybe there will be a hungry baby and the mom did not bring enough food and has no milk. That way I can swoop in and help the baby and myself.

I'm laughing at myself for thinking this. I'm desperate I need to be milked . Now I truly know how a cow feels.

Any other moms ever feel this way?

I'm setting up a 55 gal planted tank with fish and sand. I'm going with the Eheim classic canister filter for a 93 gal tank.

I have a 36 gal with aquaclear power filter I love it. I'm wondering should I just have gone with the aqua clear. Or will the canister be better. I heard good things.

I looked it up. How to do it and it seems pretty easy. Scrap all old silicone off clean and apply basicly. It sounds simple but has anyone done it and is it simple?

So I have a 55 gal tank I have been collecting stuff for it slowly. I'm putting together a saltwater tank. I have been keeping fresh for years time to try something new. I have done my research don't worry.

Bigger is better I know so that's why i'm thinking I should get a 90 gal I got my 55 Gal for $60. I can always just set up another freshwater. I found a 90 Gal 48"x 18"x 23" for $100 comes with a stand but its home made so I'm not sure about it. the person kept turtles in it for a year.

Should i just keep the 55 since it is cheaper less rock and sand needed you know. Or should I go bigger?

So I am going back to work my baby is still breast feeding and she is only 3 months old. I wanted to wait till she was 6 months but with the economy the way it is I need to go back sooner. I am not excited about it because the longest I have been away from my baby is 4 hours and that was only maybe 3 times. I will be working pretty much full time 8 hour shifts. Also at a job I absolutely hate but that's besides the point.

Oh and my husband and I are going to be working opposite shifts so our daughter does not have to be in daycare. Our time together will be even less. has anyone had to deal with that? How did you make it work?

I have a 55 gal tank I'm setting up for saltwater I want to run 2 heaters. Could I run one 200 watt with a 150 watt? Or do you think that is too much? Because the 200 watt can heat the tank by it's self. So I don't need the other heater it is more for a back up.

So I have been keeping freshwater for awhile now I have it undercontrol I know what I'm doing. So I'm thinking of doing saltwater. Well I have saltmix, crushed coral,protein skimmer, canister filter, and a 55 gal tank.

Saltwater is so much more involved and so much more work and plumbing. I'm starting to feel like I'm in over my head. Do I realy need an RO filter for my water. I'm doing a fish only tank with live rock.

How much more work is it really. Setting it up is more work there are so many ways to set up your filtration . Should I get a sump?

I'm doing my reasearch reading a book and going online to saltwater fourms. I want to do it right. But I feel like it is just so much harder then my 36 gal fresh.

How much would you pay for 40lb of live rock someone wants to get rid of? So it's in a way "used" live rock so you know it should be cured.

How much should I offer them for it?

The only fish I want and must have is the Blue Acara. I live in northern CA I can't seem to find them any where. Even the 2 places I found online that have them are out of stock.

Do any Americans have a blue acara? How did you get it? I'm going to ask my LFS but they never get me what I want. Its always something close but not it. Like one time I asked for them to order more pit bull plecos. The guy said I will order a red fin/rusty pleco. I was like no they get too big I want the pit bull it is perfect. Sure enough he ordered the rusty instead. This pet store only get like 2 or one of a type of fish.

Do you think petco or petsmart would order fish for me?

Any ways. Its an acrylic 55 gal 40L"x 20"w x 23h" tank with light wood stand, canopy, light, heater, and filter for $100. I love the dimension of the tank it look great. I thought he sold it but just e-mailed me back saying its still available.

Should I pass up a deal like that?

How often do you find used acrylic tanks?

Someone had made a 1 3/4" hole in the bottom corner of a tank for a protein skimmer. Its a 70 gal tank the person is asking $50.00 for the tank. BUT it has this hole. Has anyone patched a hole like this before and did it work.

I am thinking I could get a thick piece of glass bigger then the hole like 2" bigger. Then use aquarium silicone to seal it.

What are your thoughts on acrylic aquariums? I found a deal on a 55 gal with nice wood stand,canopy, heater, filter $100. I am going to check it out and if its good it's mine.

I know the main down side is they scratch easily BUT can be buffed out.

Anyone have one and what do you think of it.

I'm thinking of doing sand for the bottom of my next tank. Anyone have sand? Do you like it and why or why not? The second tank will be a 55 or bigger with some mid size NW Cichlids and a pleco maybe a gold nugget.
