I'm currently a junior, but I'm debating if I should take 5 classes next school year.

I plan to take:

- Sociology/Philosophy

- Hawaiian Language IV

- Pre-Calculus

- AP English

- AP Environmental Science

The other two classes I'm cutting out are Human Physiology and Fashion Design.

Is this a smart decision, and will this affect my chances of getting into the college(s) I want to attend?

For my senior project, I chose the topic on whether there should be a minimum weight limit for models. Besides writing a research paper, I also need to do field work. However, I don't know how I could incorporate that into modeling. Any ideas?

I'm a model (and a newbie) at Hollister Co., and I'm a little confused about covering my shift. I want to go to my little cousin's birthday party, however, I work during that time. Do I just call Hollister and tell the manager that I won't be able to work on that day and ask if they could call someone to cover up for me?

I need to design and build an egg device that will survive a launch crash (from the second floor). HOWEVER, for this activity, I can only use drinking straws, wooden sticks, and rubber bands. Any ideas?

My boyfriend and I are both in high school by the way. So far, we've been going out for 5 months and lately, I've been noticing that he's the hot 'n' cold kind of dude (although he doesn't admit that he's often moody). Sometimes he would be madly in love with me, and then a couple minutes after he would be distant and detached from me. Although, I don't think that he treats me like how I want to be treated. I once asked him, "Do you treat me like a princess?" He replied, "No, I treat you like a queen." I believed him for a while, however, I began to think otherwise. Sometimes, I don't like how he talks to me. He talks as if he knows everything (and everything about me) but he doesn't. He always tells me to see things in a different perspective or that he can't tell me everything about him and his ways because I have to figure it out but I argue with him to just be straightforward and tell me what's wrong. He also told me that he can't hold my hand or show too much affection or else it'll be a "common thing." By that, I don't understand what the heck he's saying. He has such a complicated mind. He's also told me that he's got three types of persona. I'm just confused as HECK! I don't want to be going out with a three-faced dude! Sometimes I believe that he thinks he's better than me. He's very LAZY. He often copies my homework as well which pisses me off (although I've said no many times but yet he still copies it). He also smokes weed and I've told him to not do it again, but yet he still broke my promise about 2 or 3 times. To me, that just shows that he doesn't care about my feelings or that he doesn't listen to me. Just a couple weeks earlier, I broke up with him. However, we talked things over and I changed my mind. He started to act like my Prince Charming but then after a while, he just went back to his usual hot 'n' cold habits. There are so many things to tell, but these are just the main things. I thought I could put up with this, but I can't stand it anymore. I think I deserve a better man who will treat me right. My friends (and even some of his friends) have been telling me that I could do better or that I'm too good for him and I'm starting to believe them. What do you folks think?

I'm going to be a junior next year and I want to at least take one AP class. By taking AP English Language & Composition, it will definitely improve my reading and writing skills. However, I had a rude awakening when I received a D from my Chemistry Honors class for the fourth quarter (as a sophomore). My mother only accepts A's and B's when it comes down to report cards. Fortunately, she understood (she was struggling with Chemistry as well in her high school years... I guess it's in the genes).

I know that they're two different subjects, but I'm concerned. If I barely passed Chemistry, then how will I survive in AP English? Though, I wouldn't say that I'm great in reading and writing. When it comes to writing an essay, I take quite a while. I heard that for AP English, the teacher makes the students write a lot of timed essays (which is quite obvious). I am not sure if I can put up with that. But I know that if I work EXTRA hard, I might be able to overcome these obstacles.

- Algebra II Honors

- Physics Honors (I'm not sure if I was dropped down to general Physics because I think that there are no honors classes in science anymore)

- Body Conditioning

*** By the way, I'm taking my social studies class (Modern History of Hawai'i/ Participation in Democracy) during this summer.
