  • I'd like to have good stock tips sent to my email address...recommend any site?

I'd rather it be a service you have to pay for, as I don't think I could trust free advice.

  • Do you have a favorite word or a word you always use instead of its more common synonym?

This is only one of many examples I could give. Ever since I read On the Road when I was 15, I never say the word "sad." I always say "doldrums" or "in the doldrums." Is anyone else out here as neurotic about the words they use as I am?

  • Manicure with limes?

A new nail salon opened up near by recently and I tried them out today since they are closer than the nail salon I usually got to. They soaked my nails in water and fresh lime juice, then rubbed each nail with a slice of fresh lime. I can't imagine the benefit of lime juice to your nails, but why else would they do this? Any clues? Thanks!

  • Do you think people are born with or without a "happy" gene?

A friend and I were talking last night about how some people are just naturally happy, even if circumstances in their lives have at times been tragic. My friend, who is also my doctor, says, "I sincerely believe there is a "happy" gene some are born with and some not and one day science will identify it." I have been thinking about this since, and would like to hear some others thoughts on this.

  • Is being totally non judgemental a virtue?

I have a friend that prides himself on how totally nonjudgemental he is. Tonight I had dinner with him and a married friend of ours. The married guy has a great wife and he is cheating on her. He asked for our opinions. Jason,(Mr nonjudgemental) really likes our friends wife, I could tell he wanted to bash married man about the affair. Yet, to stay true to character he said things like," I sometimes feel Im so nonjudgemental its a handicap. I just want good things for both of you, but I can't comment on the affair. I'd never judge someone." My advice was end the affair or tell your wife and let her decide whether she wants to stay or not. Jason really pissed me off. He acts SO righteous its sickening. In your opinion is he a better person for not passing judgement. Is giving advice passing judgement? I do not feel I judged married man, I gave advice. Opinions? Thanks

  • Violent during sleep...help?

I am not a violent person, I have never physically hurt anyone in anger. However, a few times a year I will be violent when someone touches me while Im sleeping. Last night I did it again and I have no memory of it whatsoever. My boyfriend got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, when he returned to bed he went to kiss me on my lips though I was asleep. He says hes done this plenty of times and I never wake up or move at all. However, last night I tried to bite his lip and reached up and dug my fingernails into his face. He said that then he jumped back and said, "Why did you claw me and try to bite me?" I replied, "I didnt." Then rolled over and went back to sleep. Does anyone have any insight on this? Thanks

  • Taurus & Gemini..Help...Please!?

My boyfriend (Taurus) and I (Gemini) have been together about 18 months. I fell in love with him after dating 2 months and told him that I loved him. He swore he'd never fall in love again, but he'd be monogamous so everything was swell. About 2 months ago, he confessed his love (awww) for me and I was very happy at first. Now he has totally changed. He is VERY jealous and controlling now. I feel like he watches every move I make. Is this typical behaviour of a taurus or just a jerk?

  • Cute Joke...?

Three old ladies named Gertrude, Maude and Tilly were sitting on a park bench talking about the days events. Suddenly, a flasher approached them, opened his trench coat and exposed himself. Gertrude immediately had a stroke. Then Maude had a stroke. And Tilly, being the oldest and most feeble, couldn't reach that far.
