I have trouble with this new design thing.

I cant find anything here and I see many features have been removed or moved to places where I just cant find it... Does anyone know where the 'Saved searches' can be found now?

And when I search for a word so I can answer questions according to that, I cannot choose that many properties anymore, like where the answer should be, if it should be an answer or a question, how many answers there are in a question, when it was asked, etc etc etc....

Will this stay the way it is now or will the design change back?

Just now I saw my cat playing with something, which turned out a few days old mallard duckling...

I saved it from death and brought it inside, put it in a box, put some rags at the bottom, but it just keeps trying to escape. I tried giving it water but in its haste of trying to escape it always is spilling it.

Now, I know that mallards are illegal to keep, but I dont know of any shelters near my town, and I dont dare letting it go free or something will eat it.

What can I give it to eat? Do I have a chance of actually raising it and letting it go free once it is old enough, I know I shouldnt handle it often, and I am not, just checking on it if it is okay. What should I know about raising it?

As some of you, I am planning to keep my Best Answers rate high. But mostly it means irritation when I am met with difficulties... Please dont start making fun of my goal. Some people do take their high percentage seriously and work for it to be high.

However many times I am annoyed when I answer a question correctly, researching, putting in effort... then when I look back a day later someone repeated my answer much shorter, clearly using my answer to create theirs... Or simply when no research is needed they repeat the same thing I already answered. And not only that, but they also either vote for themselves, so taking away my chance to get the best answer rightfully, or the Asker chooses theirs over mine, for reasons I cant understand.

Anyone else having this problem? is this allowed on Yahoo answers? What can I do to prevent this happening? Can I report them? Should I make a rule suggestion like this to Yahoo Answers team?

Simple question here.

I would like to link my debit card to paypal, and I dont know if I actually can and if I would do it right.

I was stuck where it wanted me to choose between Visa, MasterCard and all that. However I dont know which one to choose. My debit card is an OTP bank card, which actually has the MasterCard logo on it in the corner. Does this mean it is actually a Master Card type and I can choose the Master Card type at the drop-down list?

I only want to make sure as I dont want to mess up. I wasnt truly sure about this if I even could link my debit card to my paypal. I already linked my bank account, I just wasnt sure about this part.

I would be doing art and receive payment for it on PayPal, so I can use it on different sites and games.

However, I heard that you can connect your account to your debit card and transfer the money there.... I wonder... if it is safe to connect my debit card or not to my PayPal account or is it maybe advised to not? Anyone had problems with that? Or maybe can I send the money from there to my card without connecting to it? or perhaps it simply isnt possible and I misread it? o.O

Hi guys, this is a very simple question.

I have noticed a few times that I am getting sometimes less points for the best answer.

Today I received two messages, and two of my answers were chosen as Best Answer.

I am like: Cool 20 points!

But when it showed me how many points I got it said 18? Shouldnt I have gotten 20? I know it is something small but it happened to me a few times before...

Why did I get less points?

I need to fix my own Ford Racing 2 game by replacing the english sound folder by the russian. Dont ask me why, it just seems to be the only fix... It wont run otherwise on my Win7.

Today i have connected my windows XP PC with my Windows 7 PC to transfer files. I have made the connection successfully, the folders showed up on my Win7 PC... but when i restarted my XP PC, it suddenly didn't load the icons, toolbar and i cant bring up the task manager either... No matter what I do. How can I get them back?

Some info:

XP is service pack 3

Win7 PC is new, no viruses on it surely

On XP PC the background loads and i can create new folders on the background, place them anywhere and even make exe files for existing files on my hard drive, like the anti-virus... but i cant start any program, i cant open the newly created folders either...

Tried "show desktop icons", didn't work.

Dont have a XP CD sadly, and just paid a huge amount of money on my new Win7 PC.. dont really want to pay more for this one...

Have no experience how to take out hard drive... or how to connect it to other PC...

a quick question:

i got windows XP, a fairly good computer.

A few days ago without warning my desktop vanished. the only thing loading is my background.

i tried the following things to get it back:

- tried ctrl+alt+del -> doesnt bring up anything (so i cant disable any tasks what others have suggested)

- restarted windows in safe mode + scanned with anti-virus -> no virus found, in normal mode desktop still not loading.

so still no desktop, no start menu, no icons... just the background.

no virus, cant bring up task manager...

what do i do?

(before any troll asks: im on a laptop right now)

i tried everything that was listed on the other post.

i downloaded malwarebytes, ran it, it did find 4 threats, deleted them completely. then ran it again just to be sure.

the desktop, start menu and icons however are still invisible. no way to bring them up.

i tried again with ctrl+alt+del, not working. ctrl+shift+esc not working either.

So cant bring up task manager.

in safe mode however everything seems to be alright.

Any other solution? Or do i have to reinstall windows? (wouldnt be happy with this because i have important things on my pc)
