Ok so I have an old Macbook, around 2008, Model #A1181, and I have new iPod Nano, the newest one. When I try to sync them it tells me that I need at least 10.7 and I currently have 10.5.8. aka Leopard. So from what I've read I cannot upgrade my computer to Lion, which I believe would be 10.7. I tried to open my iPod and drag and drop, it said it was downloading but when I hit "music" it says I don't have any. Is there a way to get my music on there? Would Lion be enough of an upgrade to get my music on my Nano? Can I in fact put Lion on my Mac? Is there some other creative solution that anyone can think of?

Ok, so I'd like to drop my Satellite TV, reasons are that I hate paying $72 bucks a month for TV when I basically only watch local channels and AMC (specifically Walking Dead and Hell on Wheels). Now currently I have no internet connection nor a home phone, I do have a new HDTV and a Wii. So I guess I'd just like some help on working out the kinks, for instance I was looking at Hulu and its recomended that you have 1.5mbps connection, is that really enough? Is there a sight to go to watch AMC that is free? What does it mean when your only allowed to download x amount of data per your internet provider? What is considered data? And does anybody out there watch TV solely via internet connection and/or Hulu? Any pointers, or suggestions?

Has anybody tried the Fodder Feed System for your livestock? I'm just trying to figure out how much a set up would cost. I have 4 horses and 2 goats. All the site's want you to call, but I don't want to get stuck in a phone conversation with a salesman. Just want a general idea how much it costs to get it going. And also, how easy is it to keep it going, if you have a set up.

About 4 months ago my dentist sent me to an Endodontist to have a root canal retreated because it is an abscess. I've had this abscess for about 22 years, its not a big deal. But they thought I should have it retreated. So I did. Somewhere in the middle of Day 2 I was in a lot of pain, called the endodontist and he prescriped anti-biotics. I asked him at that time if he should remove the filling and let it drain, cause thats what they did last time. He said no. This was a Thursday, Friday comes around I'm in excrutiating pain, I call him again, he says take pain killers, well DUH!! He says it takes 2 days for the antibiotics to start working. Sunday, I'm in so much pain all I can do is cry, my entire face is pounding, I haven't slept, I haven't ate, I've lost 5 pounds and I'm popping pills like a junky. I call again. He calls back, says, "take more pain medication" I tell him if I take more I'll be in the ER with an overdose, he says sarcastically, "well then dont, be in pain." Monday rolls around I show up at his office at 8 a.m., he looks at everything, my chin is swollen, my lip is swollen, air touching my teeth hurts, he says, "sorry, let the antibiotics kick in," I ask him again, take the filling out, he says no, I storm out and slam the door. None of this seems right, I ended up taking a total of 5 days off of work, my mouth hurt for 2 weeks, though after a week it was bearable with drugs. I lost 10 pounds all together. So how can I report him to some officiating agency so he can screw someone over like he did me? Or at least get some of my $800 back for poor/no treatment.

I have 1995 GMC Sierra 1500 and I'm trying to find NEW door panels and dash. My truck runs great but the interior is falling apart, so I just want to replace the interior parts. But I don't want to go through a dealer because they usually hike up the price even when your going to do the work. I've looked online at JCWhitney and RockAuto, but I can't find any interior parts, does anyone know where else I could look.

A young man who is 17 has been living with me for the past 9 months, he is not a relative. His mother is in a permanent rehabilitation facility, she willingly signed over guardianship, but not custody. I have incurred all expenses, she has paid nothing. The guardianship is not court ordered, but it is notarized. According to Turbo Tax I cannot claim someone unless they have lived with me all year, but then it also says that I can claim a child if they have lived with me for more than 6 months. There's no way to fill it out that doesn't have me lying in some sort of capacity, and I don't really feel like getting audited, on the other side I'll get another $1700 back if I can claim him. I've looked on the "Frequently Asked Questions" but there are no questions that directly relate to my situation, most people have guardianship of a child who is related to them. Any concrete answers or links to specific sites would be great. Please don't guess.

I have the TOTAL, TREATMENT, SS, DF, MS, and F values, what I need is the P values. I was trying to use an online P value calculator but it asks for the Degrees of Freedom numerator and denominator, which is which?

I'm trying to do a computational table for my Ecology class and there are two columns with the headings of (∑x)2 and ∑x2, and I can't figure out exactly what it is that it is asking for. The example I have shows: ∑x = 4, (∑x)2 = 16, ∑x2 = 16 the next row is ∑x = 7, (∑x)2 = 49, ∑x2 = 25. I don't get how they got 25.
