Were the Giants the 3rd best team in the NFC East?
Clearly, the Eagles were better and got hurt with all the new guys in a short training camp. Dallas has a much better team but an awful coach. And they also got killed twice by the Redskins. So are the Giants the 3rd or 4th best team in the NFC East? Killed by the Seahawks and Saints, and clearly not overall as good as the 49ers and Packers, even though they beat them. Not sure about the Lions, they are only better than the Falcons. so, probably 8th best in the NFC, darned Patriots got really lucky on this one.
2 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoAre the Giants as good as their 6-5 record makes them seem?
The Giants have won 6 of their games since they last played the Patriots, and have only been blown out 3 times. Of those 6, we can firmly put the "kneegate" NFC Championship win and the away Cowboys win in the "got lucky" category. Basically, the 8 game period when they blew out the stinky falcons and beat the rusty Packers bad is the extent of their "peaking".
5 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoShould a team and their fans act cocky when they win the biggest game of the year on a botched field goal?
I am ,of course, talking about the 1990 Giants that snuck into victory because of Scott Norwood's botched field goal attempt. Apparently, Giants' fans are ,all of a sudden, feeling bad about it because they are all complaining and making fun of winning on a botched field goal attempt over at the New York Post. What has brought this sudden self reflection on the normally boisterous, obnoxious, uncultured, undereducated group of human beings?
3 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoOMG Did the Patriots get caught CHEATING again?
Drew Bledsoe, Ty Law, Troy Brown, and Tedy Bruschi — the game’s honorary captains — for the coin flip:
TOSS OF COIN
Article 2
Not more than three minutes before the kickoff of the first half, the Referee, in the presence of both team’s captains (limit of six per team, all of whom must be uniformed members of the Active List)
F'ing COINGATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoHave you looked at the Giants post-season stats?
They killed Atlanta, gotta hand it to them there, but clearly Turnovers was the only thing that separated them from the Packers and 49ers. The Giants have no chance to win without turnovers.
They have 20 interceptions to the Patriots 23 and they are tied with 10 forced fumbles. The only way the Giants can win and the way they need to win they don't have an advantage over the Patriots. The Patriots on the other hand are able to turn the ball over and still win.
Basically, the giants have no advantage, they need to get lucky to even make it close. I don't think they'll get lucky again.
5 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoShould they have one last Monday Night Football game tonight?
The worst two teams play for the 1st pick in the draft, but the winner gets the pick, not the loser.
2 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoIs the Super Bowl matchup "fixed"?
Since the only people who were going to watch the "Harbaugh Bowl" were named Harbaugh, did the NFL and the Networks conspire to have the Patriots and Giants win, so that everyone would still watch it?
After falling asleep in the first quarter Thanksgiving night watching the most boring football game in history, I think we can all breathe a sigh of relief for kicking these bums out of our living room Super Bowl Sunday, even if it was a conspiracy.
5 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoWhy aren't Patriots fans whining about Gronkowski's first down catch being ruled out of bounds?
he had both feet in bounds at the 4, Patriots would have scored and led 27-20, yet Patriots fans aren't whining about the bad officiating? why not? and that Raven being out of bounds on the touchdown after facemasking Mccourty?
Incredible!! how bad the officiating was against the Patriots!!!
Good thing they made the right calls at the end when Lee Evans didn't even have 2 feet down when the ball was coming out.
5 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoWhy do people forget this about the Ravens?
They are the CLEVELAND BROWNS, today was simply a CLEVELAND BROWNS performance. They can change their name, they can change their clothes. they can't change their true essence.
2 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoSince the Patriots are the #1 defense in the post-season of all 12 teams?
does it make sense to consider anyone else worthy of winning the Super Bowl? Only 252 yards of offense for an opponent that pummeled the regular season "best defense" with 447 yards of offense!!!!!!
3 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoWhich overrated Raven will embarrass the team most Sunday?
Old Man Lewis?
Skinny No Arm Flacco?
Thug Suggs?
Ray "Not Jerry" Rice?
I think they will all stink, but who will stink the most?
13 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoCan we clarify what Ravens fans think the AFC Championship is this week?
The Ravens will be playing the 2007 Detroit Lions while the Patriots are playing the 1985 Chicago Bears? Is that right?
4 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoDid Belichick illegally tape the Broncos yesterday?
Look at the camera man just to the left of Tebow. With the dyed hair and and headband, it looks like Belichick snuck onto the field himself Sunday and did his own videotaping!!!! When will this all stop? Are you telling me The Holy Trinity can't even stop this guy?????
4 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoHow can the worst Defense in the NFL have a #1 seed?
The Green Bay Packers are the # 32 overall defense this season and will have to face a tough offense in the New Orleans Saints soon. in the AFC, the # 1 seed is the Patriots with a better ranked defense than the Packers and without a single decent offense facing them in their road to the Super Bowl, I guess that means the Patriots vs. Saints for the Super Bowl.
11 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoNow that the Patriots are guaranteed to go 19-0?
Why will fans of the other teams even bother?

7 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoDo the jets wear puke green on white or white on puke green uniforms next week?
Puke green on puke green is what they're fans will be wearing, if they have the guts to watch the whole game.
8 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoCan Mark Sanchez keep his interception streak going?
He has gone for an incredible 13 attempts without an interception. I say he may extend it to 14 or 15 before his 4 or 5 interceptions next sunday.
6 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoIs Matt Hasselbeck a Patriots fan?
Looks like Pats fans won all around today without even playing. Congrats to Lofu Tatupu, too, another Pats fan!!!!
5 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoWhen do we rename the Super Bowl to the Patriot Bowl and the Lombardi trophy to the Belichick trophy?
