  • What is an appropriate title for a marketing manager who does a lot of different things?

I work for a small company and I am in charge of marketing and public relations, social media, and web site design and development (as well as smart phone application development). What is a good title for me that can convey all of the things that I do?

  • How do I get my city to take responsibility for damage to my car?

I live in a small town on a hill. Our drainage from the street is awful. It has been a problem the 5 years we have lived here. When it rains, our driveway washes out. Every time we get a large amount of rain, the city has to come out and add gravel to our driveway and dig out the drainage ditch near our house. Last year we took it upon ourselves to add some cement to our driveway, and it has held very well.

Last week, we got a heavy rain, and our driveway washed out near the road, an 8 inch strip about a foot and a half deep along the street where our driveway connects. Well, I didn't notice it on my return from our holiday traveling. I hit the "ditch" on my way in to the garage, and after I pulled in, ALL of my transmission fluid leaked out on my garage floor. My husband looked under the car, and I have a hole in my transmission pan.

My question is, how do I (politely) ask / demand that my city take responsibility for the repairs to my vehicle? I assume they have accepted liability by repairing the problem in the past.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

  • Is suspected Lyme Disease a reason to visit the ER?

I suspect that my 2-year-old may have contracted Lyme disease. I pulled a tick off her back on April 19th. In the last couple of days she has been starting to act sick - fussy, low grade fever, sleepy all the time. I checked her back, where I found the tick, and there is a faint bull's eye rash.

Should I take her to the emergency room, or is this something that can wait a few days? We just moved and I don't have a pediatrician yet.

  • Dish Player Wireless Keyboard?

Here is one for the techies out there! I have a dish network wireless keyboard that I used on a previous receiver (dishplayer 7200 I think). I now have a new receiver and I want to program the keyboard to work for it. Now, I called Dish and they said that it will not work, BUT a couple of years ago I programmed it to work for my parent's new receiver, I just don't remember how I did it - apparently I found some instructions online and they are no longer available.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

Also, I have an APEX tv, and there are no codes available on dish network's website for the keyboard that will program my tv.

  • Cervical Spine Bulging Disc Question?

I have been having severe pain in the right side of my neck for a few months now, and recently I started getting numbness and tingling in my right arm and hand. I have had headaches and lots of weakness. SO, my doctor had me get an MRI. The MRI showed a bulding disc in my cervical spine, but the nurse told me that the disc is bulging on the left side, so my symptoms have no known cause and no treatment. What does this mean? If my symptoms indicate a bulding disc, then is the fact that the pain is on the opposite side of the bisc bulge eliminate the bulging disc as the cause? I am really confused and I was hoping to finally be able to get treatment. HELP! What do I ask my doctor? What is causing my pain?

  • Do longer cycles affect implantation bleeding?

From what I have read online, implantation bleeding can occur anywhere from 6 - 12 days after ovulation. The typical woman has a 28-day cycle. My cycle has been consistently 31 days. This month, I ovulated on the 10th, had sex about 12 hours after ovulating (scheduling conflict). I was supposed to start my period today, but I only had a LITTLE blood, and it was bright pink (usually it's brownish the first day).

Now, I am wondering, is it possible that it's implantation bleeding? It's been longer than 12 days, but since my cycles are longer than "normal," is it possible?

I may get my period tomorrow, but answering this question will help me for next time.

By the way - I took a pregnancy test 3 days before my period was supposed to start - was negative, but I only had a 50/50 shot of having a positive result even if I am pregnant. I just haven't gone to the store yet, but I figure this is an interesting question, regardless of my situation (i.e. someone else may like to know).

  • Sleep Apnea in a 10-month-old?

My 10-month-old has recently begun waking up numerous times during the night either whimpreing or screaming. I put her in bed with me and noticed that she'll breath normally for about 10 or 15 minutes, then breath rapidly, then stop breating for 7 - 10 seconds. She then wakes herself up, whimpers and goes back to sleep, or screams until I comfort her.

I have an appointment with her doc in 5 days (they couldn't get her in sooner). She always wakes herself up, but I am still concerned.

Is it common for children to develop apnea at her age?

Is there any reason for me to get her in to the doctor sooner, or is it alright to wait a few days? (If I demand an earlier appointment, I will see a nurse practicioner or a doctor that has never seen my daughter)

I am mostly worried that she isn't getting enough restful sleep (and neither am I). I have checked out some stuff on the web, but I was hoping someone out there in answer-land could give me some more insight.

  • Teething baby with a white spot behind left eye tooth?

My 9-moth-old has her left eye tooth half-way in and there is a white spot on her gum behind the tooth. It does NOT appear to be another tooth coming in behind the first tooth. What could this be? The spot is definately white, with maybe a hint of a yellowish tinge. I don't know how long it has been there (she won't let me look in her mouth), but I know I have seen it for the past 2 weeks and the size has not changed.

She has been unusually fussy lately, and Oragel seems to work, but it could be the "spot" or the fact that she has 4 new teeth coming in.

Any info you gould give or a place to search would be great. I want an idea before I try to brave the ice storm to take her to the dentist - it may be a week or more before the imediate 50-mile area has power. If this is serious, I want to take her right away, if necessary.

  • Ping timeout for youtube. HELP.?

My internet is working fine. I was on youtube earlier and now it won't open. I ran ping www.youtube.com and the session timed out. What does this mean? Does this mean the site is down or that my ISP is having problems? How can I figure out what to do? I pinged other sites and got responses. It seems to just be youtube.
