While travelling in Europe I tried to make a small purchase at the duty free shop. They refused to accept a US five dollar bill saying its prior to 1983. I had no idea such bills are not acceptable. Nor do I know how to identify them. How do I know which bills are 1983 and before that. Can anybody help? Thanks

For years I have used yahoo messenger paid voice services to make international calls from Brazil to land lines in Asia. For the last two months the call quality is so poor I have just stopped using this service. I do have the latest yahoo messenger - makes no difference. Have reported this problem to yahoo but seems like they are now indifferent to customer service. Does anybody else have this problem with voice calls?

When travelling I wear a money belt around my waist. No metal on it at all. Can I continue to wear it through the new body scanners at airports. I dont want to take it off and place it with my hand luggage and other articles going through the x ray belt as someone might well pick it up and be off with it. Has anybody continued to wear cloth/plastic money pouches and belts through body scanners with no problems?

Messenger 10 on Windows 7 seems to lose quality of voice after talking awhile and is unstable. Using the same audio accessory (headphones) I can get perfect audio with an old laptop and older version of messenger. So it cant be my connection. Are others having this problem with Messenger 10? Have you been able to roll back to earlier versions of messenger on Win 7? I tried it but it doesnt seem to work.

My father who was sick gave a power of attorney to my brother to dispose off his inherited share of our family property. My brother was unable to sell and my father meanwhile died. Is the power of attorney still valid?

Its been four hours since I added prepaid credit to my yahoo phone out service which I use regularly. This time there is no update and my balance is the same as before. Tried the customer service chat and got fobbed off twice with "our engineers are working on it". But no commitment from Yahoo as to when they hope to resolve it. Have filed a written email complaint. Anybody else with this problem?
