  • Would you be afraid to admit this?

I just answered a poll asking if people were completely honest about their replies here, and most replied in the affirmative.

But here's a question that's of personal interest to me: how many of you would admit your sexual orientation here, online, if it's anything but straight? I'm not asking you to divulge your personal status, because that's really none of my business (- you could if you wanted to, though), I was just wondering if it was a touchy subject with most.

Besides, I don't know if you're telling the truth, so.

  • Grey's Anatomy: Will it ever be shown in Singapore?

I know that the S3 DVD is coming out on Sept 11 in the US and I'm definitely pre-ordering, but it'd be a lot more awesome if it hit local TV screens before that. Channel 5 claimed it was going to show it in March and even showed a trailer with it, but I don't see any news.

    Any help/info?

  • Does anyone know Angelina Jolie's fanmail address?

I'd love you very much if you did. (:

Even better yet if you've tried it out and know it's real for some reason or another, like say you got a response. Not necessary, though, I just want the address. (x

  • PostSecret?

How many of you here have mailed in postcards to PostSecret, or thought about it? (I would but it's too far away.)

& does anyone know if the PostSecret book is available in Singapore, & if it is, where and how much?

  • Does anyone know where I can get the HSM VCD/DVD in Singapore?

Yes I'm another one of those people who have totally fallen in love with the cheesy High School Musical, a production by Disney Channel.

So far, I've only been able to find the soundtrack (which I already own, though even this was hard to find with stores all over out of stock), & I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the movie itself (on VCD/DVD format, I don't mind either way) is available in Singapore, & if so, where & how much?

  • Where did the kuih baulu come from?

I'm interested in finding out the origins of the Malay kueh baulu.

Alternatively, I'd like to know if there are any good sources of information about Malay traditional kuihs.

  • How do I run a .exe file on a Mac?

I've recently gotten a MacBook (with the Intel processor) and I realised I was unable to run a couple of .exe files I needed to install programmes. Through the Internet I found out that I had to either install a Windows OS as a parallel system, or use a PC Emulator.

The first one is out of the question as I can't afford to buy the OS, and I've heard rumours that it creates bugs as it leaves my Mac vulnerable to attacks aimed at Windows. As for the second, I can't seem to find one that's a) free, b) in a .dmg (or any other Mac-compatible) format, & c) easy to use. I wouldn't mind downloading a trial, if anyone has any suggestions, as I only require it for a while.

Alternatively, does anyone have any other way to run .exe files on a MacBook?
