What do the people think.

So most of the beef on masculine names for girls is that the names get hijacked from boys, and are then thought of as too girly. But why is that, what makes the idea that if a name is girly it also mean that its now undesirable. Aaron is still a boys name, it won't make boy Aaron less male if there are also girl Erin's in world or does it? When it comes to names what do we lose if boys names aren't as masculine as possible?

I thought this was kinda interesting. Some people hate the idea of masculine names on a girl, while I'm more on the side of hating soft and poetic names for a girl.(I tend to go for common names or unisex ones) Which side of the name game are you? What kinda personality or lifestyle are you trying to convey with your girl's name? Do you think the sexes should be absolutely seperate on names or is their some wiggle room. Should everybody on both sides embrace more femininity in their naming or what?
