  • How do I cope with having an anxiety disorder?

I have done a lot of research on how to cope with having actual anxiety (I have it almost constantly), but anytime I try to look for coping with actually having the mental illness I can never find what I'm looking for. What I mean is that I tend to have a lot of resentment toward myself and my own body for kind of rebelling against itself with this anxiety. I get angry about the fact that I am anxious and depressed and it causes me to self loathe. My problem is that I'm afraid to tell myself its out of my own control because I don't want to "accept defeat" but I also don't want to hate myself for being weak and not able to lead a normal life. How do I deal with this?

  • Should I go into work tomorrow?

Ive been sick since Monday. Just a bad cold. I work in retail so my job requires me to be moderately active. Im just starting to feel a bit better, but I'm afraid if I go back to work too soon I will make my sickness come back worse again. My symptoms as of now (the night before my shift) are a stuffy nose, throat congestion, cough, sometimes nausea (from the throat congestion), slight dizziness when turning my head, general icky feeling, slight sore throat, neck a tad bit achey, minor headache, minor fatigue. Overall none of my symptoms are too terrible, but I don't exactly feel in tip top shape. Problem is I already called in sick for the two shifts I had since Monday and since I really thought I would be feeling better than this I didn't call to give them any notice. If I did it would have to be in the morning right when they open so they have adequate time (about 5 or 6 hours) to find someone to cover my shift. I feel bad and I don't want them to think I'm slacking off, but I'm beginning to really dread having to push through tomorrow. Should I push on and just go in, or would it be a lose lose for everyone? (I'm not contagious anymore but I think its obvious by the sniffling and coughing that I'm not well, I might scare off the customers)

  • When do people typically receive the new iPhone if they preordered it through a carrier?

I ordered my new 64 GB 6s Plus in Rose Gold through the verizon site at midnight, but I wasn't prepared so I'd say it took until about 10 after midnight to actually get the order processed and finished. I know this could make a difference as to when I receive my iPhone, especially since this model will be one of the most popular. How long do people typically have wait until they receive their phone in the mail?

  • Do I have to switch my Contact lenses after 30 days even if I didn t wear them every day?

I have 30 day disposable contact lenses. Often times I just don t feel like dealing with them so I will only wear them if I need to go out and drive somewhere. So at the end of the 30 day period I may have only actually used them 20 times. Do I still need to switch them out or can I stretch them to a month and a half as long as I don t use them more than 30 times? I am very good about my contact routine as well. Never sleep in them, change solution every day, give them a good rub, wash out the case with gentle soap. I am an optometrists dream patient!

  • My macbook air stops charging at 68% for no reason.?

It's been doing this for a few days now. As soon as it charges to about 68 percent it just stops charging and I have to unplug and replug the charger from the wall to get it to work again. Yes it technically works but it's so annoying, especially since when my macbook gets close to dying I have to get up and unplug/replug every time and then it only goes to 68 unless I do that again. Is it my charger or my computer? Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it? I do plan to talk to apple support if the problem continues.

  • I think my Crested Gecko is sick. Help!?

I recently got my first Crested Gecko in September and I was told he's around 4 months old. I'm only assuming it's a he I know he could be a she. He is very small and pretty thin too ever since I got him. I used to take him out a lot but lately things have been busy so I haven't, but I am trying to get back in the habit so we can bond again. So yesterday when I went to get him out I didn't see my gecko in it's terrarium, but I thought he just found a new place to hide and din't think much of it. I misted his terrarium, turned on the heat lamp I have set up for him (it gets cold in the winter months) and went to bed. today, again I couldn't find him but thought I would just wait a bit longer for him to appear. I just checked again and still so sign so I decided to go hunting. I found him in the back of this fake tiki thing I have in there and sort of just picked him up out of it, but he had barely any reaction. Thinking maybe he just woke up (even though its 2 am) I gave him the benefit of the doubt. as I tried to get him to "wake up" a bit, he still did almost nothing but look around a bit. Then I started turning my hand thinking he would grasp on but he started slipping. His grip is weak and he seems very unbalanced/possibly disoriented. I tried feeding him and even put some CGD on his mouth but he didn't even lick it off, he refused water too. I put him back but he is still in the same place just lying there. I can't go anywhere because its 3 am now but I am so worried.

  • Stained nails!?

I just got acrylic nails but asked them to put gel topcoat on it so that they wouldn't be stained when I wash my hair. They used the UV light to cure it and all. I have red hair that I have to use special shampoo for and it tints my nails usually but not if I get gel. This time I'm not sure why but my nails are tinted pink and I want to know how to get it off. Can I use nail polish remover or will that damage it? I am open to any recommendations!

  • Suddenly extremely sensitive tooth?

A week ago today I was drinking a starbucks frappuccino and I noticed some minor tooth pain in one of my teeth. I didn't think much of it until I noticed the same pain but worse when I had my bowl of cereal the next morning. Then as the week progressed I noticed more and more pain to less extreme temperatures. Even biting into a piece of slightly chilled lettuce would hurt. Now its sensitive to hot too. But the pain that is associated with the hot is a horrible shooting pain. I now notice the pain showing up with things that are barely warm and I am afraid to eat anything that is not room temp. It is just that one tooth and none of the teeth around it. The tooth feels normal and it doesn't hurt to bite on crunchy things as long as they aren't heated or chilled. I admit I am not the best example for oral hygiene I don't floss every day and I don't always brush at night. I use a sensitive toothpaste (sensodyne) every day and I have been for months. I called my dentist and left a message because thy aren't open Friday Saturday Sunday but I am afraid I won't get an appointment until mid next week. What can I do for this in the meantime? And what do you think it could be? Please I am scared to eat anything...

  • Bad cough and I can't barely speak!?

I am getting over a cold and I just developed some terrible chest congestion. No matter how much I cough I can't get anything out and it feels like there is a lump in my throat! I can barely speak and all these non productive coughs are giving me a sore throat. I sound like a man and I am sick of having all this crap in my body :( I just want to get it out of me! I just took some mucinex for it and am drinking water right now to activate it. I'm worried it won't work though. What do I do?

  • Do I have a cold, flu, or what?

So yesterday I woke up with some nasal congestion and I thought it was jut allergies. I felt fine all day except I was really tired but since I was on my period I didn't think much of it. Now this morning I wake up and my congestion is much worse, my head hurts, and my tonsils are kid of swollen. I don't really have a "sore throat" though. Not like the others I have gotten. It's just my tonsils. My neck is a little sore but I'm pretty sure that's just because I slept really bad. I have an appetite and I can eat fine. Don't think I have a fever but I haven't measured my temp. So what the hell do I have? I have never had sickness start out with a stuffy nose without a sore throat. It has always been sore throat then sickness with stuffy nose a few days in. Oh yeah. I was sneezing yesterday too.

  • Severe sinus pressure help!?

I have a cold and it had resulted in the worst sinus pressure I have ever experienced. I cannot sleep and no medications are working. I have tried DayQuil sinus, generic cough syrup (said to help with nasal congestion and sinus pressure), vaporub, Tylenol sinus congestion and pain (severe), NyQuil, neti pot but it didn't barely even come out the other side of my nose due to so much blockage, saline nasal spray, and the only thing that helped me was taking a really long shower but I obviously can't just be in the shower all the time so that's a problem. I'm in so much pain I just can't even take it anymore. My upper jaw hurts from all the pressure and I can't sleep! Any suggestions could help.

  • Can you sum up the fall of Berlin?

Not the movie but the fall of it in general. I have been doing research but I keep finding stuff on the movie and when I do find an article it's so long and I am terrible at picking out key facts. I need to make a PowerPoint so bullets or just a general sort of statement/summary would be good. I'm not having you do my work for me I already have the rest of the powerpoint done but I think I'm just fried at this point so I need help. I'm talking about early 1945 when hitler commuted suicide and all that and Germany was defeated. Thank you.

  • When can I change my nose piercing?

I have had my nose piercing for almost 3 months but about a month in it got infected due to lack of cleaning and I just recently got rid of the infection. There is still a very slight raise in the skin where there was a huge puss bubble before and I have been soaking it every day with sea salt solution and will continue to do this for a few months longer. I'm asking can I change the jewelry to a ring yet? I will of course continue to soak it and will not get cheap jewelry.

  • My nose piercing is bleeding?

So I got my nose pierced like 2 and a half months ago and it was going well for about a month till I let up on cleaning it and it got infected. I wasn't able to get rid of it until now pretty much. The bump I had has reduced in size greatly and I have been peeling the top layer of it off because I figure I will eventually peel all the layers off and it will be gone. Yesterday when I did this I think I opened the bubble and it began to bleed. I washed my face immediately, left it for a few min, then did a sea salt soak. Following the sea salt soak i put a small amount of tea tree oil on the bump only not the actual hole, then went straight to bed. Now this morning when I go to just clean it with a q tip and saline like I always do, it starts to bleed again. Not a lot just it's getting on the q tip. Is this blood just what was in the bump I had and it's coming out or is this my piercing? It kinda hurts and has been stinging but I figure that's normal. Suggestions?

  • Why do I suck at running?!?

I have always been one of the last people to finish while running the mile in PE. I hate running with a burning passion because of it and because of the way it makes me feel. I can't go more than 2 laps around the track without stopping. I get so out of breath and exhausted and I start to wheeze a little and my vision gets blurry and I feel all faint and weak and hot. My best mile time is like 11:00 and that was when I was trying what I felt like was my absolute hardest. I ran (well really jogged) the whole thing. I was going slow but I gave my whole entire effort. Is it possible that I'm just not built for running? I'm 16 female 4'11" 97 pounds. Obviously not fat and the fat kids even pass me. I once also had a special Ed kid do better than me it was humiliating. I'm so embarrassed about this please help :(

  • How long does it take for a baby betta fish to become fully grown?

A few months ago I purchased a baby betta fish from petco. It has grown but its still very tiny. Unfortunately I am not sure how much it has grown because I didn't take a photo but I do remember it being significantly smaller. I got the smallest one they had because I just thought it was adorable. I'm actually surprised it lived! It is now about 1 and 1/4 of an inch long and it's red! I have it in a glass bowl with a diameter of I would say 10 inches??? Is it not growing because its in a small area? I just want it to become a big pretty betta already :( also I'm feeding it those small hikari brand pellets and I change the water about once every other week (filtered water from the fridge that I let sit and become room temp. cause I've always done it with my other bettas and they live long)

  • What is the cause of my chronic wrist pain?

I have had wrist pain just flare up every once in a while for I think almost 2 years now. When it first appeared it was just that it was painful to bend my wrist down. Then it was that I couldnt bend it up either. After that came the aching pains. It worsened and I got a brace. But now it is the worst it has ever been. It aches constantly. Pain shoots up my arm. I can't pick up a cup of water. Also there is one very tender spot on the top middle of my wrist that hurts really bad when put pressure on and also causes aching afterward. It's effecting my fingers. And I am not sleeping well because even when I take ibuprofen i toss and turn because of the pain. Please. I just need a freakin solution.

  • Small brown rice sized bugs that bite!?

They are the size and shape of a grain of uncooked rice. They are sometimes tan but they vary in color to a dark brown. They come in through the tiny cracks around my screen. They fly. They are super quick and they also jump. They only come around at night. They love light sources. And most of all they bite!!! I wake up with like 6 more bites every morning! I really need to know what these things are and how the HELL I get rid of them! Please this happens every summer because my room is the hottest in the house and I HAVE to keep my window open at night or else I can't sleep because it is literally 95 degrees in my room. I am begging you.

I am very short. 4'11" 15 yrs old. I have full B cup to small C cup breasts. A pretty good sized butt. Very skinny but a little bit of a pooch on my belly that I am a little self concious about. However I am okay with wearing tight dresses. So witch style dress would suit me best? Formal and casual dress suggestions are appreciated!
