I live in Ontario and have the same name as my uncle who has a lengthy criminal record and every time I travel especially to the US I always get pulled in for a secondary more advanced inspection and a thousand more questions usually taking up to an hour or longer and it doesn't matter if I am flying or driving, I once even missed my flight do to this. so my question is if I legally change my name here in ontario will this clear up all the travel issues I have been having or will my original name still show up when i present my new ID ? please only answer if you know for sure because I fear that if I do this and then my original name still shows up as well it may even make things worse when i travel.

i have tried system restore and running ad aware but nothing seems to stop the freezing up...

any ideas or things i can do that might help ???

an absconder 2 warrant ( failed to report for probation ) and if not how long would buffalo police hold someone befor releasing them ?

The court is ordering me to pay $43,000 to my ex wife in back child support and now the F.R.O is threatening to suspend my drivers license until it is paid. Since I drive for a living, I will lose my job if it is suspended. Will the F.R.O really force someone on to unemployment or welfare in order to try and recover support which will be imposable if they do ???

I am looking for advice or knowledge of this type of situation from a attorney or judge.

So dont bother with comments of " just pay it " or " deadbeat dad " cause neither is true. I am very much involved in my kids life and have been helping support them directly for 6 years. My ex and her family are Multi millionaires and this suit was only brought on out of jealousy when i got engaged.

for none payment of support or will they have to send it to a quebec court first ?

Ok I know warrants are issued and recorded in the ncic until they are caught and dealt with. but someone within the courts has the job of entering new warrants and deleting old ones that have been dealt with. so my question is, who is this person or what level of law enforcement has the right and or ability to change or delete warrants in the system ???

I recieved a support order from the Ontario FRO ( family responsibility office ) for 937 per month. if i send them 400 a month will they push and take other actions for the full amount or will sending them 300 - 400 a month keep them at bay ??????
