9 AnswersDogs8 years agoHow can i reinforce a wire mesh fence for my dog?
We built a wire mesh fence for our cockerspaniel puppy. It worked pretty well for a while, but now that she's a little bigger we need a sturdier solution. She has started to dig underneath the fence and she got out a couple times.
I need a cheap way to reinforce it so that she can't dig under the fence and escape.
Any ideas? I'm hoping not to spend more than 20 or 30 dollars on this.
4 AnswersDogs8 years agoShould I get an android or iphone smartphone?
I'm considering whether or not to get a smartphone. I've never had one before and now that I can afford it, I'd like to own one.
Which one do you think I should go with an android phone or an iphone?
7 AnswersCell Phones & Plans9 years agoHoroscopes... I don't understand?
Please explain to me how somebody born in a certain time of the year can automatically have certain traits.
It makes no sense.
I'm not saying it's not true, it may very well be, but I just don't understand how being a capricorn can automatically make you share traits with someone else who is born around the same time.
The horoscopes that i've read explain some of my traits, but they always get a few that are totally off.
4 AnswersHoroscopes9 years agoHow much do you tip the pizza guy?
I'm a pizza delivery guy. Some days I do pretty well with tips but others I get stiffed a lot. I say the same thing to everyone. "Hi, How are you? .... Good... Would you like any cheese and peppers?"
ect...ect...
I get paid minimum wage in the store, but when i'm driving i get 4.25 an hour because it's expected that I am tipped. The $2.75 delivery fee also does not go to me. I get 33 cents per mile and that averages to about $1 per delivery. I also pay for my own gas and any maintenance on my car.
So I really rely on tips to make decent money.
Great tips can make my day, but getting stiffed a lot really makes me hate my job.
9 AnswersEtiquette9 years agoInterested in moving to Fort Collins, CO?
I'm 22 years old, I have about 2 years of college completed and I am looking at moving to Fort Collins with a couple of friends. The plan is to get an apartment or rent a house, work for about a year to get residency for instate tuition and then finish my degree at colorado state.
How easy is it to get a job there? What is the job market like for someone my age with no degree?
What is the cost of living in Fort Collins? Are things generally more expensive there?
I want to be prepared for anything before I make the move. So any other advice would be appreciated.

4 AnswersOther - Health9 years agoHow can I be more consistent with my workouts?
How can I get motivated to workout and keep it up consistently.
My biggest problem is that I will workout for a week then stop for 2 weeks. I go through phases where I want to improve my health and physique and phases where I just don't care.
4 AnswersDiet & Fitness9 years agoHow can I not let things bother me so much?
So I'm a pizza delivery guy at pizza hut and it really bothers me when people don't tip. If I get stiffed 2 or 3 times in a row it really makes my day that much worse. I'm getting paid so low already, I really depend on tips to make my job worth it.
I get 7.25 in store and 4.25 on the road. plus 33 cents per mile. I pay for gas and any other car maintenance myself.
I know there's nothing I can do to make people tip except be as polite and positive as I can, but it's tough to be happy when I'm getting paid less than minimum wage and some asshole tells me to "keep the change" when it's only four pennies.
2 AnswersFamily9 years agodistorted voice with built in mic -- iMac bootcamp?
I have an iMac running Windows Xp through bootcamp
When I talk online using the built-in microphone my voice is incredible distorted. It's a really deep robotic voice, or a demon.
Has anyone had this problem before? Do you know a solution?
1 AnswerAdd-ons9 years agoSiberia v2 mic not working on OSX or XP (bootcamp)?
Is there a workaround to get my Siberia v2 headset microphone to work with OSX or bootcamp (Win Xp)?
In OSX the microphone is recognized but will not let me switch to it in steam. The built in microphone still picks up everything ( Yes I tried to switch to into in the Sound options )
On bootcamp the microphone isn't even recognized. Under control panel > Sound options > voice... the only option i have is for the built in mic
I have one of the newer iMacs.

I have had 2 guinea pigs for about a year, but soon I will be moving into an apartment that doesn't allow any pets. I would like them to go into another home where someone else can take care of them. How can I find somebody willing to take care of them?
1 AnswerOther - Pets9 years agoIs too much TV bad for you?
My dad has a very easy job and is basically working 6 hours a day 4 days a week. In his off time he loves watching TV. Now I like watching TV too, but not nearly as much as he does. The TV is constantly on at our house. It is very annoying. He sleeps, eats, and lives with the TV on.This isn't anything new but his TV time has increased since the divorce from my mother ( about 5 years ago ). I know this inactive lifestyle is contributing to his declining health ( Obesity, high blood pressure, and much more ) If I had to guess I would say that he watches up to 10 hours of TV per day and even more on the weekends.
Anytime I say anything to him about doing something other than sitting around he just says something like " Yeah I know I should" and then never does it. He is so incredibly lazy. He wont even walk the dog around the block.
I suppose my question is how can I help him become a more healthy, active person? Also is there any way I can get him into other hobbies or activities besides television?
I've pretty much given up hope on him ever being a normal and active dad...
( By the way.... He is on a bunch of different medications... The only one I know of for sure is pain killers for his bad back and knees ) He has also smoked weed since he was 14 but has supposedly given it up for about two years now.

2 AnswersOther - Pets9 years agoHow should I handle this situation? (relationship advice)?
So I was in a relationship with this girl for about two months. About a week ago she texts me to break up, which pissed me off because she didn't have the decency to do it in person. Anyways she says how she just doesn't feel like we should be in a relationship and she would still want to be friends. Also she said she needed to focus on "her healing" ( she got our of a bad/abusive relationship about 6 or 8 months ago. )
My question is should we still try to be friends?
There really wasn't much going on in the relationship. We didn't have much chemistry and I only saw her for about 2 hours once a week. 90% of our relationship was through texting ( It's very hard to get to know someone when all you do is text each other )
I was hoping things would change once we were about to spend more time together, but that never happened.
I'm just conflicted, part of me is angry and the other part of me is understanding of what she's going though and wants to be friends.
Just interested to hear your opinions.
