I'm also interested in applying 1 Ivy, but which Ivies would I actually have a slightly higher chance of getting into? I know my chances are zilch either way, but which of the Ivies may place a little more weight on extra-curriculars/SAT?

Subject Tests: Math II-740 (Gonna retake in Dec and take Bio --> aniticipating for 750+)

Freshman GPA: 3.99 (5 Honors, 1 Enriched)

Sophomore GPA: 4.18 (2 APs, 4 Honors)

Junior GPA: 3.89 (4 APs, 2 Honors)

Current GPA: Unknown (4 APs, rest elective classes such as Anatomy & Orch to fulfill grad requirements)

NHS - 50 hrs of tutoring

*CHS - president, 30 hrs of tutoring

*Orchestra - principal cellist in school orchestra, in orchestra for 8+ yrs (school, lakeland, NJYS)

Intern at National Institutes of Health - 2 summers; 40 hrs for each summer

Hospital volunteering - 120 hrs since freshman yr

*Key Club - officer for 3 years; 250 hrs from freshman to junior yr; chairperson of many events

Piano - 8+ yrs; Carnegie Hall winner/performer for 6 consecutive yrs; performed internationally in Boston, Russia, Canada

Common app essay: strong. I wrote about my personal experiences with bjullying. I don't credit this as an excuse or my bad grades, but I alluded to the bullying occuring during my junior year. The main focus of the essay was my character development as a result of the bullying.

Rec letters: 2 teachers + guidance (will be standard but decent), for some colleges I will have my supervisor from the National Institutes of Health write my letter

I believe that my extra-curriculars and SAT (excluding subject tests) are fine, but I'm mainly worried about my grades, which I know is the most important aspect of a college app. Please be honest and let me know what you think.

I know how to calculate this (have the answer = 1.9 x 10^-6), but my question: why is the 3OH- concetration 1.0 x 10^-9? I know that [OH-] x [H3O+] = 1.0 x 10^-14. [OH-] = 1.0 x 10^-7??

I'm a Capricorn and I come from a very fiery family --- I have a Sagittarius dad, Leo mom, and an older Aries brother. I get into frequent arguments with my mom, but I never got into any heated arguments with my dad or brother. I get along well with my brother; I don't think we ever liked hated each other before lol but we like annoying each other to death. Sometimes I feel like my parents don't understand my sensitive nature, so I have many Earth and Water sign close friends. :D

When I like someone, I tend to be extremely shy at first. I will try to get to know the person better (talk to him more), but I try not to express strong lovey feelings for him. I'm cautious when it comes to love, so I kinda detach my emotional feelings for the person when I first begin liking him. I worry if he doesn't like me back. But when I know that the person I like likes me, I'm open with my feelings and not shy at all...I give my whole heart to the person because I love with my entire heart.
