We all love to coit. But, if you had your choice to coit anyone in the world, living or dead, who would you choose?
1 AnswerSingles & Dating1 decade agoCould I get into Penn State University Park?
Right now, I am a junior in high school.
My GPA is a 3.5.
In my school, only juniors and seniors can take classes to get honors credits, but my freshman and sophomore yeah I was in accelerated freshman english, accelerated sophomore english, and I was a year ahead in math.
So far my honors classes have been: comparative political systems, advanced biology, novels, formal composition, and accelerated speech.
Next year, my senior year, I am taking AP Biology, AP Literature and Composition, and AP French; as well as Honors Statistics. However, I am transferring my second semester next year, so I'm not sure what my schedule will be like for second semester, but I plan on making it very similar.
I'm in my fourth year of French, and my second year of Spanish, so by the time I graduate I will have about 7 years of foreign language.
As far as athletics, I've been in cheerleading since my freshman year, lettered twice in varsity.
I have 80+ hours of community service from coaching youth cheerleading.
As fas as clubs, I've been in student cabinet for all my years in high school, and I'm in multicultural club this year and next year.
So can I get in? I plan on majoring in nursing, and minoring in French and Spanish. I might add another major eventually, but I'm not really sure right now, except that I know I want to go for nursing. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoWhat is the most advanced tumbling allowed in high school cheerleading?
As far as UCA cheerleading goes, what is the most advanced tumbling skill you can do? (Regardless of division.) We're just performing on mats, not springboard or anything. So what is the most advanced skill you can do? The most I've seen is a round-off backhandspring full twisting layout. Is there anything more advanced than that??
2 AnswersOther - Sports1 decade agoWhat is causing my joint pain?
I'm 16, and I have chronic pain in my back, knees, hips, ankles, and it's now starting in my elbows. I have stiffness in my shoulders too.
The back pain started when i was around 10, a little earlier than that, but not too bad. The knee pain started when I was 14, and the hip pain and shoulder stiffness when i was 15. Now I can feel my elbows and ankles starting to feel uncomfortable.
All my joints, and my back, are CONSTANTLY cracking and popping, especially my knees and ankles.
The back pain is usually mild to moderate, but it gets pretty extreme sometimes. Same with the knee and hip pain, only that's more on and off, but they almost always feel uncomfortable. I've noticed that within the last six months, whenever I put too much weight too quickly on one of my ankles, it jams it and it hurts a lot. My shoulder stiffness is constant, and I constantly have to lift my arms above my head and stretch them backward.
The only sport I do is cheerleading. I don't really know what causes it, obviously cheerleading makes it worse sometimes, but there has to be a route to the problem.
1 AnswerPain & Pain Management1 decade agoHow many years would it take to major in nursing and double minor in French and Spanish?
I want to go to a major four year university and major in nursing, so I can be a registered nurse. I will eventually go back to get my master's to be a nurse practitioner.
I also want to double minor in French and Spanish so I would be considered trilingual. I already have taken 3 years of Spanish and 5 years of French in high school, so approximately how long would it take to do this? 5 years? ??
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoHow difficult is it to get an ROTC nursing scholarship?
I am a junior in high school and I want to go to a major four year university for nursing. I also want to apply for an ROTC/NROTC/AFROTC (doesn't really matter which one) scholarship, like a full ride basically. So I was wondering how selective it is to get a scholarship for the Nurse Corps? Is it extremely competitive? What kind of GPA/test scores/extracurriculars do I need?
PLEASE help! Thanks
4 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoHow do I claim my idenity?
Obviously when I turn 18, I will need to do things like rent/lease a place to live, buy a car, get a passport, etc.
I would like to know what I need to prove my identity? So I can get things like a passport, drivers' license, or apply for a job. What records and information would I need?
1 AnswerPersonal Finance1 decade agoMy dog was attacked & I want to know if he'll be okay?
Please help!
Today while I was walking my dog (a dachshund) a German Shepard attacked him and bit his little body and started shaking him, but it was only like one shake because I reached down to grab my dog and literally had to push the other dog away to get it to release. A huge patch of skin tore off and was literally in one intact piece on the road, with more skin hanging off his back. We rushed my dog to the vet and he never lost consciousness and he didn't bleed too much, but the vet said it is possible that he has internal trauma or his back may be hurt, and I won't know anything til around noon because they had to put him under to sew the skin back on. Surgery took around 4 hours and she says the skin looks swollen.
Will he be okay? I really need to know :/
