ICT A-level thoughts for a beginner?
I was thinking about taking ICT, I haven't studied ICT at GCSE previously and I was wondering if anyone who's taken it has any opinions about it?
I'd be able to deal with the course-work, but is the ACTUAL subject difficult?

1 AnswerChemistry7 years agoHey what do you think of the poem I wrote?
I'm 16 and I was in a creative mood, tell me what you think - or any improvements!
They say we are free to write, with only twenty six letters,
Free to express ourselves with words that are not ours,
Free to run with nowhere to escape,
Free to have privacy with metallic eyes, watching, judging,
Free to spend our time, when it is running out, twenty four hours per day, structured for comfort,
Free to explore within the gridded areas of urbanisation where even the trees are trimmed to perfection, every blade of grass the same length, no individuality,
Free to sing with a limited range of notes,
Free to cry with a set number of reasons to,
Freedom is a false notion that does not exist, but hope does.

I stare at people a lot and for a long period of time, in the eyes and when they make eye contact with me, I continue staring. I don't know why I do this?
1 AnswerLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender7 years agoWhat should I expect from Krav Maga?
I'm female, 16 years old, 5,7 ft and I have a slight build.
Today I was hassled by some boys, so my Dad signed me up for Krav Maga, so I could learn how to defend myself in dangerous situations.
I'm quite strong, considering my size and I was wondering, what would it be like training? I have never taken a self defence class before and I'm curious!
` Thanks

6 AnswersMakeup7 years agoWhat does it mean if a guy asks if you're a virgin?
I'm 15, and today this guy in my class (who I don't talk to) asked if I was a virgin.
So I told him the truth and said I was.
But why did he ask!? What does it mean?
I'm not ashamed of being a virgin, I'm saving it until marriage, but I'm just curious to why he asked me...
Thanks :)
8 AnswersSingles & Dating7 years ago'All my sons' essay help?
Hi all, I have to write a essay on 'all my sons' by Arthur Miller, and my teacher is really bad and I don't understand it very well.
The question is 'how does Arthur Miller show family loyalty in the play?'
I have rough ideas on how to answer this in the style of an essay but I'm not that confident. Any help would be AMAZING.
1 AnswerHomework Help7 years agoHi can I ask your advice?
Well I have low self confidence, because I'm a 15 year old girl, with untameable hair bed hair, long limbs in comparison to my body, no boobs (literally no boobs) and with a nose too big for my face.
Today this group of boys came up to me and told me that I was ugly and that all the guys in my school agree that I'm not very good looking and they all laughed at me. One boy stood up for me saying that they shouldn't say that and then staged whispered that he agreed.
Well my confidence sucks now, my Mum says I'm at a awkward stage that I haven't blossomed yet but anyway I was wondering that you thought of this incident, I mean if I was pretty (not that I care really) then they wouldn't say that. I just feel... I don't know - any advice?
2 AnswersOther - Society & Culture7 years agoHi I have started writing a book (for fun) can I have any opinions or improvements? :D?
Books. Many read them, but few understand the underlying meaning to them, each sentence in a good book can have many alternative meanings thousands or more if you let your imagination wander. Books are my safe haven; somewhere I can escape to and engross myself into other people’s problems and feel wanted.
I love the musky smell of books, the satisfaction of breaking a books spine and the feeling of turning a page. I am not the typical teenager I suppose, but who is?
Normal. One’s perception of normal is different to another’s. Many people think that normal teenagers are teenagers with pimples, braces and bursting to the seams with hormones, but in my opinion that is not what a normal teenager is like. To me there is no such thing as normal.
My eyes drift to my bedroom, my sanctuary; with its vintage wallpaper, rustic desk and handmade quilt. I’m going to miss this place, I think sadly. But there’s no other option. I can’t stay here. Not with him.
Suddenly my paint faded door bursts open, it’s him. My parents love him; they say he’s a good influence on me. I tried to break up with him once, that didn’t end well.
‘Hi Elsa, how you feeling?’ my boyfriend asks while sitting next to me on my bed. A kind light glimmers in his menacing eyes, the most chilling oxymoron. He has a perfect face with full lips, piercing blue eyes and a muscular body. Any girl would die for him. But not me.
‘Good’ I mumble shrinking away from him. \\\\\Thankyou so much //////

1) "The beginning of this question talks about airbags."
The mixture of chemicals contains sodium azide (NaN3) when decomposes on heating to form sodium and nitrogen.
2NaN3 ---> 2Na + 3N2
A typical airbag contains 130g of sodium azide.
Calculate the mass of nitrogen that would be produced when 130g of sodium azide decomposes.
Relative atomic masses (Ar) N = 14, Na =23

I am stuck on this question, I have done all of my other questions but I cannot figure out how to do this question:

The equation for the reaction is:

I have no idea what is meant to go in the (........), help would be much appreciated if you can. Thank you so much for reading, and I am sorry for being annoying x
1 AnswerChemistry7 years agoFriendship issues :(?
Well basically me and my friend have been really good friends for ages, but recently we fell out. She goes to a different school from me, but we usually facebook message. Well basically I said something I shouldn't because I was annoyed about something (which I now can't remember) and ever since then we have not been friends. I have said sorry, multiple times but I feel so guilty about what I said. She hasn't responded, I know I am in the wrong, but do you think there is a chance of us still being friends?
Thanks
