Any recommendations for a decent gaming monitor that is able (with convertor or not) to play PS2/gamecube on with an RCA connector as well?
I want a strong gaming monitor for my midrange gaming PC (Geforce 2060, Ryzen 7 3800X) but also need to be able to play PS2/Gamecube on it, meaning I need a way to plug RCA wires (red, yellow, white) into it. What monitor/convertors are recommended? I am looking for 100-200 dollars for the monitor and any necessary convertors combined. It should work for both normal PC / gaming usage and also these older consoles. Thanks!
Monitors3 months agoI want to be able to screen record/ stream playing PS2 and GameCube games??
Both PS2 and GameCube have RCA connectors, but the people who asnwered my most recent question said that using my HP 15t laptop as a monitor for it would create a few seconds of input lag, making the game basically unplayable. My TV is a SONY Bravia, so I am guessing it's too old to be screen recorded. Since my laptop lacks a DVD player and is not for gaming, PSCX and most other emulators are out of the question. Any suggestions?
1 AnswerLaptops & Notebooks2 years agoOK- I've a laptop, and although it's not for gaming, I would like to play my PS2 and GameCube games using it as a monitor. But I need help!?
So as far as I know, I can simply get a RCA connector to HDMI converter and plug the PS2/ GameCube into that. I'm doing this cuz my laptop is not a gaming computer AND lacks a DVD reader, meaning that PSCX is probably not an option. Is my idea of getting one of those cheap (like 10 dollar) converters of RCA to HDMI gonna work? I really don't want to damage my laptop trying as it is very new - it is a HP 15T with i7 and 16GB and 1TB storage if y'all want to know. TYSM!!!!!!
2 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks2 years agoI am getting a laptop for 3D stimulating and CAD. I need help keeping the price down and want to know what to downgrade.?
Specifically, Is it more important to have more cache (8 MB not 4 MB) and cores (4 instead of 2) or is it more important to have storage (a 256 GB SSD instead of a 16GB PCLE NVMe Intel Optane)? Thanks!
