Help with 70s glam makeup for someone totally inept?
I'm a girl, but I'm dressing up as Marc Bolan from T. Rex for Halloween... the problem is that I'm pretty much totally inept at makeup... I've found glam tutorials and stuff on youtube, but I'm not sure how much they're like what Bolan used to do. Also, most of them go too quickly for me to follow... Could someone help me figure out what I should be looking for, or doing?
Thanks so much!
1 AnswerMakeup10 years agoA few questions on art and existentialism?
I'm very interested in existentialism and recently have been thinking about its relation to art-- particularly Rene Magritte.
I was wondering whether anyone had ideas about good books and resources I can use to study this. I'm in the middle of Arthur B. Fallico's "Art and Existentialism," and have read some Sartre and other existential writers. Does anyone know of any place that Sartre talks extensively about art? Any other suggestions? I'm open to anyone, or anything.

4 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoWhy do I shake when I get emotional?
I'm a fourteen-year-old girl, and whenever I have to deal with any serious, strong emotion, I start shaking, especially my arms and hands. Sometimes, I shake so much that I can barely write or type.
Why is this? Is it normal?

6 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoNames In David Bowie Songs- most answers wins the prize?
Male or female, it doesn't matter, in fact I need both, so go to work. Also, even if it technically isn't a name, but could be one, put it down. No covers please, strictly original Bowie.
Don't worry, not an obsessive fan using these to name my child, so you don't have to feel guilty about potentially ruining a life.
Love you Bowie fans out there.

I'm a huge psych rock and blues fan (Jefferson Airplane's my favorite), and I've decided to try Moby Grape. Which album should I get first? I don't like compilations much, so I know I want it to be a full album.
1 AnswerRock and Pop1 decade agoAny Quicksilver Messenger Service fans on Yahoo Answers?
Well are there?
I'm fourteen, and I discovered them last summer. I think people my age should be listening to them, because they are just so fantastic... real musicanship. None of that Justin Beiber crap.

5 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoWhat do you guys think of my song?
It's not a very good take or anything, but it gets the point across. I wrote the words with my friend, and composed the music myself. I'm singing, and playing guitar on this track.
I'm only fourteen, so try to be slightly kind... this song is a little bit folk-ier than I usually go, but I think it turned out pretty well.
