She has been with the company for one year ... I trained her; taught her all she knows and now that her one year anniversary has come and gone, she is a SNOT!! All KNOWING and always on the defensive and always late for work and always SHORT with her answers and even a simple GOOD MORNING pains her! She KISSES the bosses @$$es though ... sucks up to them and for months, barely says 5 words to me in a 9 hour day! When I ask her if she's okay, she doesn't even look at me and comes back with, yet another, SHORT response and says: I'M FINE! She doesn't do her job effectively and if it were up to me I would write her up and/or show her the door! The bosses don't see all of this because they are in a separate part of the building. Basically, I come in every day and have no communication with my co-worker ... she's not friendly and she announces her PERIOD to everyone! She scares even ME when Mother Nature takes her over! AND I'M A WOMAN!!

How would any of you handle being treated like this on a daily basis when there is only 2 of you in the office?

A girl that was hired one year ago has been using her iPhone every single day to listen to tv shows while working ... she claims this is only BACKGROUND noise, yet when we need her attention, she bites faces off because she's getting her SHOW INTERRUPTED. Not only that, but she doesn't try hard enough to get her job done ... she sends e-mails and leaves voice mails and expects people to call her back in a timely fashion ... this delays the entire company's workload. Okay ... now my turn ... I got into trouble for IM this past week ... I have worked for the company for 5 and a half years ... I work the jobs of 5 people ... she barely does hers. When I went to my employer about not getting information in a timely manner and being snapped at for interrupting her while she was watching her shows, 2 days later I was called out for IM while at work. Granted ... I know that this isn't something that should be going on, but I meet all crucial deadlines and can multi-task ... all the while, the girl I work with is still using her iPhone to watch tv shows ... nothing was said to her. I trained this girl and she makes 50cents less an hour than me ... my attitude this past week has dropped to a mere I DON'T SHIV A GIT anymore ... I need my job, as we all do, but what is it about THIS GIRL that my employer defends? She is also as dumb as a bag of rocks ... and doesn't even TRY to step up to the plate to take care of the business ... I don't want to quit my job, but I am only trying to understand why my boss defends her and ridicules me!

Without going into alot of detail .... I have a man in my life that came back to me after 25 years ... he told me he wanted me back ... in the last year, he has seen me, had sex with me and has even told me he loves me and never wants me to leave him. He has also made "me" sit off by the sidelines and wait to hear from him all the while making excuses for why he's not around... he has also made excuses as to why he doesn't want me to text or chat to him. I've had it!!! I have loved this guy for a long time ... love meaning that I can accept him for who he is, but what I can no longer accept is the way he puts me off. I want to know how would YOU end it and move on with your life? The owner of a lonely heart is much better than the owner of a broken heart .... what do I do now? Please help ... serious answers, please. I am suffering anxiety over this long distance relationship.

I just don't understand why a thumbs down in necessary unless you have good reason (like abusive language or a short, crappy answer) to give someone a THUMBS DOWN?

Why do people do that here? Don't they realize that when most people, like me answer, that our heart is REALLY into helping someone?

I have an upper room in my house where a router is located and hooked to a desktop computer. (I have Wi-Fi) My daughter was just given an X-Box and wants it hooked up either in her room or downstairs ... how can I do this if the router is upstairs and hooked to my computer? If I move the router, will I still be able to connect my desktop to the internet?

Please help soon ... I need to do this for her this weekend ... her birthday is Tuesday!!

He turns right around and blames me for being upset? I really need to know why a man would do this? This happened to me recently and it continues to happen ... is he trying to break up with me? Not ALL women allow their emotions to be controlled by their hormones ... I am one of them, but this guy KNOWS when the cycle comes around and it's at THAT TIME that he says & does things that he knows will be upsetting. Someone with some common knowledge of this type of behavior, please explain it to me?

I have FOXIT Pdf Editor ... it has an eraser tool (not a PENCIL eraser tool) to allow me to edit documents. I have a very large drawing (24 x 36) that I need to EDIT with this eraser tool, but the program won't allow me to. Where can I find another program with the exact same editing tool?

Adobe doesn't offer an ERASER (only the pencil eraser), so please help me out with some other suggestions.

about visitation with the non-custodial parent? The child is 14 and hasn't had a relationship in over 9 years with the non-custodial parent and the non-custodial parent is forcing the issue on the child now that he has come out of the woodwork. What rights does the child have & what about the custodial parent who has cared for & provided for & nurtured the child without any financial or emotional aide? Any advice?
