What's so special about the iPads?
I have an iPod touch 4th gen. It's handy and free internet with wifi, which I'm always around. An iPhone would be nice to consolidate my iPod and phone into one, but I'm to cheap to pay for internet on top of internet at home. I'm in my last year at college and I could see this being the future textbook. Professors would hate it though. I just don't get who wants to carry around an iPad and for what? Do people just hold onto them or put them in a back pack? My laptop isn't that much bigger and can easily put it in my backpack and carry around. I can do so much more with a laptop than an iPad, so much more. Well you got to start up a computer if I need to quickly look something up an iPad is handy. A iPhone or iPod is easier to carry, more accessible and getting it on is exactly the same. Maybe you want to watch a movie on the road, I'll bring my laptop and take the extra time waiting for it to start up and it also has a dvd player, which really isn't much of an up, I realize considering all those dvds can be converted to files. I just don't get it. You can get a decent laptop around the price of a iPad. Are people buying these just to have them? I'm not just asking how this would be nice for me but for anyone. Someone please show me the wonders of the iPad or back me up (cost benefit analyses would be nice).
