Chest pain symptoms in my mother. Heart attack or gas?
My mother had a burning aching chest pain in the center of her chest between her breasts. It did not last long and she had a little pain in her shoulder as well. I can not convince her to go to the emergency room since she has a doctors appt January 5th.
She had an EKG 6 months ago and everything was great. Her doctor told me she has the cholesterol of a young woman and her blood pressure is a normal blood pressure. Heart conditions do not run in our family with any regularity and she is otherwise healthy except for arthritis from a hip injury and a back injury. Any one with knowledge of a heart attack in women? Is she safe waiting?

I have a miniature Dachshund 2 year old male who likes dry food and I have been looking for a safe dry food to feed him. I have mostly been feeding him chicken and rice which I make myself along with some homemade chicken jerky but he is getting a bit fat even with extra exercise =(
Any ideas on a safe dry dog food?
