4 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoGirls ONLY: Does it bother you when you're grinding with a guy who is hard?
There were a couple of girls who wanted to grind with me and I thought they we're really attractive. I got hard and then they excused themselves. Other attractive girls don't seem to care at all. Is it really like 50-50?
2 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoIs it morally wrong to continue this relationship?
So recently, I started working at a gym where I met this girl. We would talk a lot during the hours we spent working with each other behind the register. We never really flirted - we only were friendly to each other.
One day, however, one of our coworkers decided to host a party. We both ended up getting drunk and hooking up. I found out the next day that she could potentially have a boyfriend who lives in her hometown through looking at her past Facebook posts (her supposed boyfriend has posted a picture of them together a couple of days ago). I honestly never knew this until now. He also lives very far away.
There is another party coming up. What should I do? Should I refrain from going altogether? Should I just avoid talking to her at the party? My boss is pretty chill, so I could even ask him to change my hours.
2 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoWhat are some ways to effectively make friends?
Please Read:
Hey so, currently I am a senior in high school. I've always had trouble making new friends, becoming welcomed into a new group of people, and having a relationship with a girl.
Freshman year, I felt that people disliked me so badly that I ended up transferring schools. The following years were extremely hard - I felt that people thought they were better than man and didn't care to establish a friendship with me. Most of my past girlfriends' relationships have lasted a very short time (1-2 weeks). In addition, I can't help but to feel bad that I am not going to be graduating with a group of friends who really care for me or the knowledge on making new friends. I'm scared about going to college next year and I really hate the situation that I am in.
My mom suggested that I read How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. What are some other ways to develop friendships?

I want to HOW to find these. Thanks.
A simply supported beam is 64 feet long and has a load at the center (see figure). The deflection (bending) of the beam at its center is 1 inch. The shape of the deflected beam is parabolic.
a) Find an equation of the parabola. (Assume that the origin is at the center of the beam. Express x and y in feet.)
(b) How far from the center of the beam is the deflection equal to 1/6 inch? (Round your answer to one decimal place.)

2 AnswersGovernment7 years agoIs foreign aid a better way to allocate money to help people?
So I have been thinking about this a lot actually.
Democrat politicians believe in spreading the wealth, hence reaching out to many consumers to ameliorate poor people's consumer spending. Many democratic politicians purpose doing this by increasing minimum wage and overall benefits, like Obamacare. This seems as though it is a paradox considering that taking money away from the rich to give to the poor would decrease the rich's consumer spending.
Overall, I think people's main incentive to spread money like this is to increase the standard of living of the poor in this country. But this seems inefficient considering that many people in this country chose to be poor. We are presented with unlimited opportunities to pursue our dreams and become successful in life.
So why wouldn't we fund to help the poor in foreign countries - the people who actually do not chose their economic situation? Why aren't we trying hard to improve education in our country and other's. Foreign aid is less than 1% of our taxes.
