I have an internal 250 GB SATA HDD with data on it and I was wondering if I bought an enclosure for it if I have to format the drive when I first install it in the enclosure? I would like to keep the data without having to transfer and transfer back. Thanks

I'm looking to get a new digital camera in the range of $300-$450, possibly lower if the camera has better value. Any recommendations or things to shy away from? I'm currently eying a Canon, Olympus, Casio, possibly HP, but open to anything.
