  • Can you use spanish moss in a fish tank?

Just wondering, Ive been searching online, but cant find any info either way. There is tons of it here, so I thought it might be a cool free thing to have in the fish tank, just wondering if it would grow or die, and would it hurt the fish, or change the water's chemistry in any way.

I realize its an air plant and does not naturally grow in water, I am just curious if any of you have tried it or read anything. :) Thanks in advance!

  • Blockbuster online movie rentals?...?

I recently tried blockbuster's online movie rental program, and during the free trial, they were super fast! As soon as I would drop one off at blockbuster in exchange for another movie, they would send out another one by mail, before they had actually recieved it. (I would get the 'movie shipped' email before the 'movie recieved' email). Now that my trial is over, they won't seem to ship my movies until they actually recieve them, instead of when they scan it into blockbuster. I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen, and is this their policy, to make the extra effort during the trial to hook the customer, then slack off once they're paying? Just wondering.....

  • Anyone out there have a featherback fish/clown knife fish?

I just bought an aquaruim that has, among other fish, 2 clown knife fish in it. They were being fed frozen bloodworms once a day, and I was wondering if they should be fed anything else. I don't think that would be a complete diet for them. If any of you have clown knife fish, I would LOVE to know what you feed them, and any special care requirements they have. Oh, and they are about 7 and 5 in long.

  • Seen a good movie lately?

I haven't seen any particularly good movies lately, and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on what to see. It doesn't have to be all that new, either, oldies can be goodies, too. =) Thanks in advance for your help!!!!!

  • My staghorn fern is dying!! Please help!!!!?

I bought a healthy young staghorn fern a while back, and not knowing about the proper care of them, overwatered it to the point where the shield fronds turned brown and started rotting. Once I figured out what the problem was, I stopped watering it so much, and transplanted it in a mesh hanging basket with moss and hung it outside. It stopped deteriorating, but it is not growing at all either. It's just been hanging there in sort of a 'suspended animation', not dying, but not making any improvement. I would appreciated any advise you can give me!!!!! Thanks in advance for your help!

  • Have you ever given up a ferret for adoption? (Or just got rid of it)?

Just wondering. If you have, then could you tell me why, because I'm a new ferret owner and I want to avoid any pitfalls. =)

  • Does your ferret 'Dook' ?

I just bought my first ferret about a week ago. He hasn't made any noise so far other than sneezing, so I was just wondering if there was any such thing as a mute ferret, or maybe he just hasn't learned how yet?
