Hello
Steve Fossett - WHY still declared dead, yet still missing?
With all the 21st century technology, and his pots of money, why has a body not been found in a land desert?
Even Robert Maxwell's body was found floating somewhere in the Atlantic Oceon...?

10 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade ago"Dedicated to the gallant people of Afghanistan".. Should Hollywood be allowed to cash in..eg RAMBO 3?
Quote marvellous Hollywood scene when an American Colonel is berating his Russian Captors with these fine words- " EVERYDAY, YOUR WAR MACHINE LOSES GROUND TO A BUNCH OF POORLY ARMED AND POORLY EQUIPPED FREEDOM FIGHTERS. THE FACT IS, YOU UNDERESTIMATE YOUR ENEMY. IF YOU CHECKED YOUR HISTORY, YOU WOULD KNOW THAT THE PEOPLE HERE HAVE NEVER GIVEN UP TO ANYONE. THEY WOULD RATHER DIE."
Now, we know Hollywood is capable of some howlers eg U571 in which brave AMERICAN sub captured an ENIGMA decoding machine and won the war?..or PEARL HARBOUR in which the brave AMERICAN pilot won the Battle of Britain and won the war ..HOW MUCH MONEY WOULD NORAID raised for the IRA had HOLLYWOOD not ceaselessly portrayed them as film genial, whiskey-swilling freedom fighters with a real and noble grudge against the wicked British.. so when they came to your bar with collecting tins.. hell dude.. have a $1?
May God deliver us from the venom of a cobra, the teeth of a tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan..?

8 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoWHAT has Irish history got to do with Republican Mr John McCain in 21stC USA TODAY?
Re - http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=200806...
What is your response to McCain strong desire to increase the troops in Iraq?
WHY was the above questioned asked earlier today?
A MORE RELEVANT QUESTION WOULD BE
QUOTE " One of the speakers has used DNA testing to make a connection with US Presidential nominee, Republican John McCain.
Genealogist Barry McCain also used the scientific method to connect many McCain families in Ireland and America." UNQUOTE http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/northern_ireland/747605...
WHY?
What has Irish history to do with 21st Century United States of America... unless trying to cash in on the vast history of BELFAST and Ireland, the IRA, Hell, it worked for Bill Clinton why not Mr McCain...?

4 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade agoWho most vulnerable in society? The one with Child Support or Old Age Pension?
if we accept the fact that the today's "11" is the new "17", it stands to reason that most 11 year olds are far better able to fend for thierselves than 80 year olds...? They can make a roach, hot wire a car, outrun police, drink a whole bottle of rum without being sick, operate a digital receiver.. so have no trouble with a microwave and a tin opener...
Can an 80 year old programme a dvd, or understand packet food? Can an 80 yeaqr old afford shopping bills?
Can an 11 year old afford shopping bills? BUT at least he can hack into the power companies accounts and qdjust bill to zero !!
For an 80 year old, HOME ALONE is hell on earth. For an 11 year old, HOME ALONE is as close to heaven as he/she'll get.
So a Mother who puts her 11 year old back in a taxi at the airport because he has no passport to go to Spain for a week with her and sends him HOME ALONE.. is she wrong.. when she has left an 80 year old vulnerable relative HOME ALONE?

Do you agree with the charge?
Why?
WHAT IS the definitive and FAIR way to deal with the cost of fuel given all the hidden taxes levied onto a single commodity?

11 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade agoCan you list 8-10 British Banks/Buildings Societies WHO ARE NOT aligned to ANY other Bank in your list?
Because of the BRITISH NEW LABOUR governments "ambiguity" in thier £35,000 Failing Bank "compensation" scheme.. where even if one has a joint account, only £35,000 WILL BE "RECOVERABLE"...
I am looking for a list of 8-10 BRITISH (preferably) TOTALLY INDEPENDANT FROM ANY OTHER Bank/Building Society in your recommended list please.
I would be very interested in your reccommendations also.
Many thanks
I would have considered Eire Banks and Building Societies.. but I've seen thier "rates of interests".... ;-)
