When you go visit the vet, do you write things down?
I'm having a pre-neuter checkup for a rabbit in a couple of days and I have compiled a list of questions. The rabbit society suggests asking a few that the vet would no doubt know, but I will verge on the side of caution and ask anyway. I also intend to bring a notebook with me to write the vet's answers down and his take on the whole pre-op, op, and post-op care. Just curious, does anybody else do that? I have heard some vets become very annoyed when you do that - tend to view the client as neurotic, etc. and I don't want to offend the best rabbit vet in the area.
4 AnswersOther - Pets1 decade agoRabbit question - should I be worried?
Today I was trying out the hypnotizing method on my bunny, hoping that it would make clipping his nails a much easier process. Then I was just glancing at his hind feet and noticed two "raised calluses" w/out fur on the bottom. He's on carpet and linoleum, no wires. Is that normal?
Also, I would appreciate any hints on the "trance" thing or advice on clipping his nails. I manage, but he shivers and spooks through the entire thing. I did look into the towel method, but he doesn't go along with that either.
thanks.
3 AnswersOther - Pets1 decade agoRomeo and Juliet original text and 1996 version?
I have to write an essay about whether the 1996 movie does justice to Shakespeare's version, and I am already leaning toward the fact that it doesn't. Reason: I believe that the play should be performed as originally intended to have max emphasis. And because I thought the movie was ridiculous, a reason I sadly can't use.
What I'm having trouble with is my 3 supporting arguments. I currently have: 1) omitted or added scenes interrupt the flow/buildup, 2) omitted dialogue leaves out some of the underlying jokes/metaphors, and 3) the setting simply wasn't appropriate/needed. As you can see, while I have the basic ideas down, I really can't think of ways to bulk them up. Esp. 3, which I know is not very good. Any advice/help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance!
