  • program that records sound from one specific program?

Ok, I'm looking for a program that records the sound outputted from ONE specific program, not the entire computer. I've found programs that record total output, but I'm afraid if I record anything longer than, say, 30 seconds, some sound will pop up and ruin my recording (I have winpatrol and it can make a lot of noise sometimes). So, does anyone know where I could get this sort of program? I would prefer something free, although a free trial would work as well.

  • Question about processor?

I have an Intel Core Duo on my laptop. I looked up its speed using dxdiag and I found that I had a:

    T2400 @ 1.83 GHz (2 CPUs)

My question: Does this mean 1.83GHz for each CPU, or 1.83 GHz total? Thanks in advance.

Are they neccessary? Do they do more harm than good? Or are they a useful tool?

Additionally, which ones are the best and why?

    Thanks in advance.

  • registry cleaner?

is it neccessary? Do they work? If so, which ones of the best, free and not free?

I would like one if it makes a noticable difference, but I also don't want to create any registry problems. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

  • two microsoft offices?

okay so here's the deal: I got microsoft office 2003 of a 60 day trial on my laptop when I bought it. I bought a CD of office at school because I got a really good deal. I installed it when my free trial went out. Now I have two microsoft offices on my computer: the standard edition and the professional edition. So here's my questions:

    1. Will it cause any problems if I uninstall one of them?

    2. How can I find out which one is the free trial that expired and which one is my good copy?
