  • How much should I be willing to pay for a beagle puppy?

We've decided that a beagle is the perfect dog for us. We've been in touch with breeders and one of them has said that we can expect to pay about $1000 (AUD) for a puppy.

We're yet to visit their living conditions but if they are perfect and if the parents are good dogs, would this be a good or average amount of money to pay? Or are we getting ripped off?

Different sites I've visited have said different things. They've ranged from $200 to $3,000.

We're just looking for a pet. Not to breed with him or show him.

Please help! All polite answers appreciated.

  • What would you re-name your kids if you couldn't use the same names?

For example, if you have 2 boys and 2 girls named Samuel Patrick, Zack Oliver, Lucy Kate & Anna Megan, you couldn't use Samuel, Patrick, Zack, Oliver, Lucy, Kate, Anna or Megan in any of the names.

Please tell me your kids' current names.

And please don't say "I wouldn't ever call them something else" blah blah blah! :)

  • Should I buy a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air?

    What are the differences?

I'm thinking the Air but if it's really worth going the extra bit of money and getting a Pro, I could. I'm just curious as to which would be better!

  • What does it mean if my nose starts bleeding after I sneeze and feel like I popped my brain?

About 10 minutes ago I sneezed and it felt like something bursts inside my head. Now I have a headache (not too big) and the bleeding has stopped now.

I know if you pop a blood vessel you should go to the ER... but I'm not sure.

Should I just go to the clinic now or just forget about it?

  • Is it possible to do anything at all in the AFP for work experience?

    Hello!

This year I'm in year 10 - this means we get to do work experience if we wish. For quite a while I've wanted to work in the Australian Federal Police - either that, or a vet. I know they're quite different areas of career paths, but it truthfully is what I want to do.

I know that I can easily apply for work experience at a veterinary clinic, but that's really my second option.

I was just curious if there's anything at all I could do to work in Melbourne CBD with the AFP?

I am aware that I can't do exactly what I'd probably like, as I'm just a citizen of Australia, and there's confidencial rules, etc, etc.

If anyone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it!

    Thanks!

  • Does ANYONE like this name?!?

    Aibhlinn - pronounced Ave-leen.

When ever I say I love this name, everyone either says "yuck" or "that's an old lady name".

I think it's gorgeous and I was just wondering if anyone else thought it was?

    + I'm not expecting :)

  • Can anyone get henna?

    Regardless of your culture?

I'm an Irish Australian and I was just wondering if it were weird or wrong of me to go and get some henna done?

I've seen Australians with it at the airport after arriving from India, which I guess might be different?

I know that anyone can get it, but I just don't want to be disrespectful to anyone culture or something?

  • What to get him for his birthday?

This boy and I have been in a long distance relation ship for less than a month. Both of our birthdays is on the tenth of Feb.

He's 17. I have absolutely no idea what to get him, especially 'cause it hasn't been for that long that we've be together.

And please, no hate or anything about the long distance thing. It's our choice and we both feel it's right until we can be together physically.

  • Need some help for a characters names?

So basically I'm writing this piece and I need help!

One girl is clinically depressed. She has extremely bad anxiety issues and ADD. She's a bit overweight and has absolutely no self confidence. Basically the book is about her and her struggles with her illness'.

The second girl is a girl whom has cancer and is a big inspiration to the above girl. She's beautiful and very appreciative of life. She helps ^^ to start overcoming her problems. In the end she does die though.

And the last is a male psychiatrist - and he's really not very good. He makes number 1 girl feel like absolute poop.

I want the girls to have nice names but not too common and can be nicknamed. I am so lost for the doctor though!

    Thanks for your help xx
