The HR person at my work gave my personal phone number to a customer. I was gone yesterday because my office is being painted, and am working at a different location today, my office will still be closed tomorrow. The customer came in to ask a question that could have very easily waited until today when I was in this office, HR knows very well I'm always at this location on Thursdays. HR gave him my unlisted phone number instead of having him wait until the morning. I got called at 9:30 at night at my home to answer a question that was not possible to answer from my home. I want to know exactly how much trouble I can get him in for this.

I am furious, btw.

So we got the long awaited bfp on the hpt today. DH and I cannot come to a consensus on when is the appropriate time to tell family, friends, and work. I say as soon as the doc confirms, we're free to tell family and friends. He's super paranoid that if we tell anyone about it something bad will happen. I think that's a bunch of nonsense. What's all of your take on it? How long did you wait before you told people?

Background: so, I've been off the pill for about a year now but no luck. At 27, I honestly didn't think TTC would be so problematic since the other women in my family seem to be baby factories. After first going off the pill, I was really regular for 6 months with 28 day cycles. Then I started fluctuating in about July to anywhere from 29-33 days between cycles (really got my hopes up the 33 day month).

Ok, so 1st day flo showed up was December 12. Had relations with the hubster on Dec. 26, 28 & 30. I had a touch of spotting on Jan. 4 and I NEVER spot. In the 16 years I've had my visitor I have never spotted once. This was only 2-3 droplets though. I attributed it to a UTI I got on New Years and I was on Cipro most of last week and UTI is now gone.

So now it's Jan 13 and still no AF. No cramps or PMS or anything. I usually get cramps 2-3 days before, but not this time.

Your opinions:

1) would it be worth it to take HPT at this point, or should I stick it out for a few more days? (can't really decide which is worse, the heartache or the anticipation so someone has to tell me what to do)

2) could the spotting have been implantation?

3) if I am pregnant, should I worry about the cipro I took?

My mom's having some computer problems - when she starts up the computer it just goes to a black screen with a blinking cursor. She can't get into safe mode or system recovery. HELP PLEASE!

My mini dachshund is 11 months old and about two months ago had her first heat. We watched her like a hawk and she definitely did not come into contact with any males so she is not pregnant. However, today when we got home we were rubbing her tummy and noticed that one of her nipples was very red and very swollen. It doesn't seem to hurt her, but this is a new development since this morning. If anyone has any suggestions, please help because our vet is gone for the day.

My cat is about 2 1/2 years old. We've had her since she was three months. As of two weeks ago, she decided that she didn't want to use her litter box any more. She peed on my couch, she peed on the spare bed and she peed on the carpet in the spare bedroom. Her litter box is always kept clean and fresh and it's in a place that's easy for her to access but not the dogs, so I know the dogs aren't the issue. Does anyone have anything I can do to fix her? She's not overweight either if that makes a difference.

Does anyone have any good recipes for jerky and/or backstraps? I'd appreciate your help! Thanks

I just got a wirehaired mini dachshund on Monday (two days ago) and we have her sleeping in her kennel at night, but there's a problem - every morning when I get up and take her out, she has pooped. I was told that they don't go where they sleep, and I have been exercising her about an hour before bedtime and I stop feeding her about two hours before. This is what we did with our German Shepherd and we didn't have any problems there. Please tell me that there's something I can do because I don't have time to give her a bath every morning AND get ready and off to work.

How come every time I say I am against ILLEGAL immigration and think it's a crime I get called an ignorant racist? What part of wanting our laws enforced has to deal with ignorance or racism? Also, doesn't that make the person calling me a that racist and ignorant themselves for just ASSUMING that I'm referring to Mexicans? After all, I could be talking about Canadians.
