Is it possible? I've tried searching but all I get is XP emulators for 7.

So... the reason I want to do this is because for Christmas I got Assassin's Creed III, but I didn't notice the system specs were for Windows Vista up. So... I have XP. That is a problem.

I know that slowly games will remove support for XP, which is a shame because XP is a wonderful, stable operating system. But times are changing and so are OSs, so I need a way to cheat the system and keep XP... at least for now, until I hear good news of Windows 8. If Windows 8 turns out to be another Vista, I don't want to upgrade until something good comes out.

So, any suggestions? I just need something that can run Windows 7 separately, so I can launch Assassin's creed and other newer games off of it until I hear good word of another OS.

Alternatively, do any of you know if there is something, like a patch, that I could download to add compatibility for windows XP with AC3, or any other modern software?

I've been a moderator on one server for a very long time, so I haven't been on any others for a while. Well, no one has really been on lately, so I decided to start looking for some new servers.

I kind of want one like I'm on now, small (3-20 players), Bukkit, survival, no griefing, and, most of all, no donating. I think that donating servers are too... donator friendly, and they throw anyone who doesn't under the bus :\ So that's the key word there XD

Any way... I also kind of want a server that has open staff positions, but I don't really care about that XD

It can have any plugins, and PvP or not, I don't care XD As long as it's no griefing and no donating >:I

And no Hamachi, either -.-

...Gosh I'm demanding...

Well, anyway, if you know a good server, or, perhaps, list of servers that match this criteria, don't be afraid to post them :D I need all the options possible right now, and I'm just having a hard time finding servers you don't donate to XD

Well, I just thought I'd ask :P

So, last night I had quite a few dreams. I can't remember it too well, but I remember me, my dad, and my brother were at a party thing. There was this guy, and he did something that made us mad. Well, we ran after him, and we chased him far into the forest. Other people were chasing him, too. When my dad and brother got in the car to chase him on the dirt road, I got on a four wheeler, and started taking side paths to get to him faster. Well, it suddenly became night time, and I couldn't see anything. I started screaming for my dad, but he didn't come back. I knew there where headlights on the ATV, but I couldn't see the switch for them. I continued screaming, and no one came for me. Eventually, my eyes adjusted and I could see the switch. I switched it on and I was completely off-course. I found my way back, but the dream cut off before I reached my dad.

Then, another dream last night, I was looking at my alarm clock. Something happened, and it fell about 3 inches. Its screen had a red blotch on it like it was damaged, and the numbers were distorted. It started making a weird noise. I went to un-plug it, but scene change.

I was on my computer. Suddenly, a warning window popped up. I closed out of it, but it did no good. My computer started to close out of programs automatically, and more stuff popped up. My taskbar disappeared, and my desktop icons started to error. I tried pressing ctrl-alt-delete to find whatever was running, and it wouldn't open. I instantly realized I had a virus. I turned off the computer manually and went to my dad for help.

He said, "Well, sounds like you'll have to wipe it." And I said, "What? Isn't there any other way to fix it? I have a lot of stuff on my computer, I don't want to loose it..." He looked at me, and then I forget what happened next.

Well, after a while I got my dad and some other family members to look at what happened to my alarm clock. They ended up straying to my computer and turning it on. When it booted up, the windows popped up instantly and my screen had large stains on it, like someone had tried to hit it and completely ruined it. I fell to my knees and started to cry.

I think I managed to wake myself up, unless this was part of my dream, too. But I woke up and started crying in real life. It was weird.

Oh, and I also have many dreams of violence or destruction. Like, just the other night I had a dream I was up in my room, and everything started to flood. I knew my parents were downstairs, so I grabbed a pair of goggles and jumped down the stairwell into the water. I found them, and we went somewhere safe. Then, an unknown amount of time later, we where in our church, which also happened to be the refuge for those affected by the flood.

Another dream I had a while ago. I was somewhere, and found a panther/lion thing. I dragged it into a house and started hitting it with a crowbar. Then my mom walked in, and she couldn't see what I was doing, so I preceded to hit her with the crowbar, also. Then my friend came to help my mom... and, you know. It was like a huge kill fest, and I was running it. It was awful. (But, my dream cut off before anyone died, thankfully.)

And also, like a year ago, I had two dreams that the house caught on fire. I always ran out, but I always went back in to grab my computer before the top floor came down.

Also, another weird dream. Me, my mom, and brother were in this place. Mom wanted to do something with us (I don't know what, I just now it was something we didn't want to do.) and since we wouldn't come to her, she shot us with tranquilizers, and we both passed out.

Then, when I was four, I had a dream my mom died in a game-based setting. Like, it was an Unreal tournament map, with a couch made of those angry crushing block things in Mario, and to top it off, Master Chief, from Halo, was sitting on it. Mom tried to sit on it, and the couch flipped over and she died. When I woke, I stood straight up in bed, panting.

Every single dream I've had like this, I'm always very thankful it was a dream. Like, when I wake up, I see my computer and see it's fine, my house and see it's not on fire or flooded, and I didn't hurt anyone. Although I like dreams, these are the ones I can't wait to wake up from. 'Cause it's weird, I know I'm dreaming, but I don't know when I'm awake until I actually wake up.

So... Is this normal to have dreams of harming people, or your self being harmed? Could someone please make sense of this for me? The last few nights have but full of these dreams, it's crazy o.o

I installed some (quite demanding) shaders for Minecraft (I get 50-90 FPS without the mod. 8 with. Very demanding.), and it lags horribly. ;_; My CPU usage goes up to 98%, and it often crashes. My computer case has broken my two good video cards over the years, so my graphics card is a old one we found somewhere.

So... I just want to know. What does my computer need to improve on? And, for the most part, how good is it? Would it be considered a high or low end PC, or somewhere in the middle?

Hi. I used to use this camera a lot about 2 years ago, but then stopped using it (We've had it for quite a few years). Someone else had used it to watch a video, and left it behind a TV. It's been sitting there for a while, and when I found it it was completely dead. I charged it up overnight. When I tried to use it, it turned on and was completely charged and played tapes normally. When I put in a new tape to start recording, all I got was a black screen. With closer inspection, I realized that the screen was just extremely dark. I've messed with it for a while, bringing exposure all the way over to '+' and then going into the menu and brightening the display. But, for whatever reason, the recording is still very dark, and having the exposure too high makes for a very 'grainy' look, as well as the color being saturated. Only when I use 'night vision' can I see everything.

I also looked at the lens and it moves like it's supposed to. I do not see anything blocking it.

What should I do to fix this? Is it something in the settings or do I have to fix something physically? How come it worked fine until it sat in one place without it being used for a couple months? Is this normal? Is there a way I can reset it to factory settings?

Any help would be appreciated on the matter. Thanks for reading, and I'll be awaiting anyone's response.
