I'm looking for movies that portray cities with positive and negative stereotypes...

For instance, in the movie (and book) 1984, the author portrays the city as a machine, with the people being the parts to the machine. This portrays the city with the negative stereotype that the only thing that comes from cities is production. And that cities dont have personality.

Do you guys know of any other movies with stereotypes of cities? Maybe sci-fi movies that portray/predict what the future city will be like? What are your thoughts on how that city is being portrayed?

I'm looking for a 4 year college near Edinboro PA that has an undergraduate program in Architecture. I've looked all over the place for one and I cant find any. Im looking for a distance of about 40 - 60 minutes away from Edinboro. Does anybody know of any?

I want to buy a blackberry curve. i have verizon wireless as my carrier. I was wondering if i could just buy the blackberry from the verizon store and not activate the phone. then bring it back a week later and have them change my phone number over onto the blackberry. My brother did this when he changed from his old phone to the enV 2 and they did it for free. Would this work? or would i still have to pay for internet added on to my current plan?

Problem: Turned on laptop and windows will not go past the startup screen where the green bar goes across underneath the windows logo. I put in the recovery disc... a black screen comes up that says loading and a white bar goes up. When the white bar goes all the way up, windows goes back to the startup screen with the green bar and will not load the CD. Does anyone know why this is happening? I cant even wipe my hard drive without the cd working.

What would you say or do?

I frequently fly on jet blue. they give you a choice of drinks and i pick coca cola. They give you it in a can so its just like every other coke.
