Australians have this tradition in which they wear the medals of their deseaced family menber that earned em on the right instead of the left to distinguish who won it and who inhereted the medals. Should the US try to adapt that tradition or keep things as they are now? I would like for anyone who are in the military or were in the military to have an opinion about this issue. answers will be appreciated as long as we keep it civilized thanks.

For those that had experience working in Battle Dress Uniforms, what's you opinion about it. Good, bad and everything in between. Officially the BDU will be retired on April 30 for active and reseve soldiers and the Air Force will leave it on 2010. thanks

How was your commanding officer during your time in the service ( Army, Marine Corp., Air Force, Navy). You don't have to mention his/her name; the rank will be fine. Was the CO a good officer, a bad officer ,or an mediocre officer. Answers will be appreciated under the condition to please be civilized in your answer. thanks all for your answers.

I tend to notice that while the nations like UK and the Commonwealth troops wear their medals with pride our troops barely wear them at all? From the articles i've been reading and stories that a friend of mine ( Army National Guard) who was in Afghanistan and early in Iraq , it seems that the M16 line of rifles should be replaced. My question to those that use it on everyday basis is whether it should be replaced and if so, which rifle should replace it. anyone that can answer this is welcome to make his/her comment. thanks

personally i think that the move on ad was too much but the phony soldiers were even worse. iraq veterans against the war even went by with them. didn't they knew what was really going on??? bedside one of the leaders got an other than honorable discharge. should we trust this people who insult and lie about what our servicemen are doing over there? opinions are apreciated from both sides of the argument
