Let's see... I'm twenty years old, an International Baccalaureate survivor, a video game lover, and addicted to dying my hair funny colors. And I'm not as angsty as I look in my picture; it was Zombie Day when I took it. I hope that I've helped a little. :)

  • Covering up an order on Amazon...?

So, I've been using a 2" ace bandage to bind my chest for a while now (not daily, just frequently enough that the width causes a problem), and it's really uncomfortable/difficult to maneuver, so I decided to buy one that's a more reasonable 6". It just so happens that none of the five convenience/sporting goods stores I visited even carry elastic-cloth bandages, so I had to find one on Amazon. I found one, and now the only problem is that a package is going to show up on my doorstep holding nothing but an ace bandage in a few days, which may lead to some awkward questions from my mother (I don't really do anything physical-activity-wise that would necessitate such a bandage). So my question is this: What should I also buy so that I can show my mom that I bought something other than a suspiciously wide ace bandage from Amazon? That way if she sees the package before me, I can still open it when she's not around and show her what I bought!

I know this is a little silly, seeing as you don't really know what I like, and I probably should just explain my binding to my mom, but I figured it was worth a shot. :)

  • How do I install speakers on my computer?

I just got a new (well, used) computer (hp pavilion a1030n running XP), and I've plugged in the speakers (small, basic, polk audio speakers), but they aren't producing any sound. There's only one cable to plug in, and I can't find any software that I would need to install. Is there something else I have to do?

  • System has recovered from many serious errors?

My computer often restarts itself at seemingly random times. When it reboots, it displays the message "System has recovered from a serious error". I went into event viewer and, over the past three days, my computer has had all of the following system errors (some more than once): 10000000a, 000000c2, 00000019, 0000004e. What are these errors, and is there any way that I can avoid them? I'm running an XP, by the way.

  • Sixteen-year-old with imaginary friend. Is this normal?

My friend told me on the phone that she's been talking to an "imaginary friend" lately, except that it's not really much of a friend. She says that it's about an eight foot tall skeleton with wings, which sounds pretty disturbing to me. It's been around for a couple of weeks. She doesn't speak to it out loud, and when she "sees" it (she says that she doesn't see it like she would a person) in school, she just tells it to go away. It doesn't have a name, and it just talks like a normal person would. She's sixteen years old, and I'm a little worried about her. Is this normal? Okay?

  • I'm still in love with my ex. What should I do?

I dated my ex-girlfriend for a year, and we've been broken up for a year, but I'm still in love with her. To make matters more complicated, she's also my best friend. She's single now, and I don't know if I should tell her how I feel. I don't want to alienate her.

    Please help me.
