We recently moved into a new home. The previous owners had dogs. We are replacing the carpets and I wanted to know what I can spray or put down to prevent the dogs from peeping on the new carpets.

My wife and I will hit 10 years in Feb. This is what I was thinking about doing....

Ok, my wife and I are trying to purchase a house. In the process, the appraisal came in low. To come up with the money, my father in law was going to give us the money. When I told our loan processor, they stated we needed to sign a "gift" letter stating there is no intention of paying back the amount. We found out today that my wife was added to my father in laws account in 2010. If we printed some statements showing she was in fact on the account, and provide this to the loan officer, we shouldn't have to say it was a "gift" because it was a joint account. Am I seeing this correctly?

My wife and I are moving and want to rent the house we have now. My question is this... if we have an income of $6460.00 with $4643.00 remaining at the end of the month after two car payments and a mortgage payment, will we have any problem getting another mortgage? If so, how much could we get approved for? We are looking at houses in the $200,000 price range. Also, if we are able to rent our house, that will be another $900 a month, increase our income to $5500 extra per month. Thanks for your time!

My wife and I own a house in Alabama and moving to Fl. Would we be able to get financed for a 2nd mortgage?? We both have 700+ credit and will have 4800 extra at the end of each month after all of our bills.

I was told that there is a way in Microsoft to have it compare two documents. I am an instructor and we have students prepare documents that must be a certain way, word for word. This is to include formatting. I heard that Office had a way of comparing two documents. So is it possible to have a "Master" document compared to a "Student" document where it will catch the differences/errors in Microsoft Office 2007? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

My Aunt just moved from NY to GA. She just ordered ATT DSL. I connected all of the stuff, I have green lights saying I am ready to go, but here is the problem. We can get the laptops to connect to the internet with the ethernet cable and wirelessly. However her Dell Dimension 3000 desktop will not connect when we plug in the ethernet cable. When I run a diagnostic it says that our netwark adapter cannot be found. I went to Dell.com and dowloaded drivers for the network adapter and the ethernet controller and still nothing. I am at wits end and wanted to throw this question out there before I gave up and go out and buy a wireless adapter.
