Bethnee

We recently got a 12 week old Scottish terrier and we are having a little trouble with potty training. We have been doing everything by the book. We feed her in the morning at 6a and in the evening at 4:30p and then we take her out promptly to go to the bathroom 30min later. If she doesn't go (and she definately doesn't go) then we bring her back in and put her in her crate for 15-20 min and try again. Then we repeat that hoping she catches on to what we are wanting her to do. After doing this about 5 times we figure that she just doesn't have to go and we take her for a walk to help things get moving. This also doesn't work. She holds it all evening from the time she eats at 5p.to the time we go to bed at 11p. Mind you we are still taking her out at least once every hour just to see if she needs to go. But she doesn't. She waits untill about 3am and starts making a fuss because she went in her crate. I am just baffeled. I am out of ideas and running low on patients. HELP!
