I read a fair bit, everything including detective fiction, espionage,fantasy, science fiction, action adventure, the classics, historical fiction, general fiction ,some non fiction, poetry and even the odd biography. Even among my favourites, the ones that grabbed me from the beginning with an intriguing hook and held out throughout the story, not so many have had a truly innovative and satisfying ending. I have my favored few but my favorite ending of all time is the epilogue in Rob Grants Red Dwarf novel "Backwards" (I know weird huh?) Without telling me the ending , give me your choice.
